I wish engines would go on a C-bill sale. Engine prizes are the only reason I dont stock up on IS-mechs.
A light costs 2.5 million C-bills to buy but over 6 million to equip? Shrug

Appogee there goes the boat, you just missed it! Yes the Oxide is the ONLY mech out of 9 that can only be bought for MC (and is truly the only mech really on sale this week), good for you for noticing...the fact however remains that the other 8 mechs only having their MC costs discounted is POINTLESS, no one will spend real money on something the can buy for Cbills. Putting Cbill items on sale WITH MC items on sale doesn't make PGI a charity organization or loose them money, quite the opposite and it stands a much better chance to generate revenue than putting "free items" on sale for real $.

Well, actually, I know of three people in my unit who have done that previously ... two of them on purpose. They wanted to spend their CBills on something else and thought buying the Mech for MC was a worthwhile shortcut.[/size]
Good tip, will remember this. I usually first look at the engine, to find if it is worthy spending MCs.
