The Atlas-D is solid. The RS suffers from arm energy dependency (low firing weapons) and the Boar's Head makes it a far more vulnerable energy platform (weapons primarily in arms). The K.. is the Atlas many pretend does not exist due to having the most inferior hardpoints despite having dual AMS (it's not worth being an inferior Atlas-D for the second AMS hardpoint). Dual dakka/ballistic hardpoints is pretty good, even though the D-DC has them, but you can take advantage of the CT energy, which is what the D-DC lacks.

The D is generally considered the 3rd best Atlas, which is behind the D-DC (ECM) and the S (missile hardpoint mass) that could go either #1 or #2 rankwise.

D for brawler, pretty much like the D-DC
RS for ranger. just seems to work well that way.

D-DC, S and RS are where it's at. Avoid the K like the plague. D-DC and S are like the D, but better.
