I have been thinking about the classic case in point of omnimech BT to MWO breakdown: The Gargoyle Prime.

Looking at this specs for MWO he is going to be beyond awful. 2 lbx 5s and 2 srms 6, 1 er small laser. It is terrible and anyone running the stock is going to get rolled. Also, the number of heat sinks he has for this load out is just silly.

This mech serves no purpose in this game right now; however, consider his purpose in the tabletop. He is a "stock" anti-air mech. He is not made for battlefield domination in all cases but rather to be quickly configured from role to role to dominate through adaptability.

I like the idea of full customizability vs lightning quick change outs.

Any ideas if we might be able to explore this option in extended campaigns during community warfare for individual planet battles?
