It's actually ok for a lot of mechs, buuut really you wanna get as much armor as you can afford on your legs too. A lot of people just go for them, or hit them accidentally, or whatever

You got my favorite BLR build in there the Wubs. I know you have mentioned the cons of the BLR in your guide, but personally for me this is one of teh best mechs to run against clan mechs.. ..the pinpoint accuracy and damage output of the LPL hits a sweet spot at taking out clan torso's. This mech can take on most clan mechs 1v1 and win if you play it right. Just my opinion

p.s. did I mention im crazy enough to run it with an XL? 380 @ 80kph elited. You zoom around so fast, its a trade off that is worth it and teaches you quickly to torso twist

while XL is...valid. idk. i dont like it personally. wouldnt stop anyone who thinks otherwise though

It has it's risk that's for sure.. ..but I think it's speed makes up for it a bit, since it has added maneuverability over most assaults and even many heavies. XL or no XL, its the 4 LPL that count

SRM4s are more accurate than SRM6s, at 200m you will miss with some of the missiles from the 6, but all the missiles from a 4 will probably hit ^{(provided you are a good shot)}.
