Trying to keep speculation to a minimum, but a few days ago scrolling down my feed, I noticed Niko tweeted something about "Hooray for Chest Xrays"

Hoping the two are unrelated.
Any case, best wishes to him, Niko will be missed.

Also a thought: I'm sure this thread will probably scrape up against a grey-area regarding"discussing moderation/staff" and all, just wanted to put my well wishes into the pot. Niko's outreach to the community was always a joy to have.

Haven't actually, and I wouldn't advise bringing it up now, all I know was that he helped me out a few times and provided helpful info, and I was happy with the prompt delivery of patch notes, all I can comment on is what I saw, and it was good for me.

Gosh darn it, not knowing why he is no longer with PGI is going to bug me like an itch that you just cannot scratch. Curse my curiosity!
But seriously, I hope Niko is alright and all that, from what I saw he was a good guy and a great help around the site. :c

it is easy enough to learn of, but i will not be the one to bring it up, in hope that he has actually learned from his past.

i do sincerely hope it was not due to his health.

I don't think anyone can really claim this is a surprise. Regardless of what your opinion may have been of the guy and his efforts.

Even if he was awesome 99.99% of the time... that one fateful period of late Aug-early Sept 2014 and the severe mismanagement on his part - even if it was with Russ' blessing initially - would cause anyone to lose their job as CM.

I don't envy whoever gets the job to follow up and fix everything that's broken and get the good stuff back on track. Pray to the gods that PGI hits the Dec 16 deadline AND that CW is incredible, not terrible... or the poor bugger may be slitting his wrists over xmas.

Always sad to see someone lose / leave a job regardless of the situation.

That being said, I can't say I enjoyed his time here.

I like where PGI is going these last few months.

Side bar, PGI give me a work visa so I can move to Canada. I'll work for FREE!
