Also, it took me until only my second match to see people trying to survive the matchand ducking out of the fight so that they can get their points towards the Victor. The 1 Kill 1 Assist requirement? Makes things a bit kill-stealy, but otherwise I'm fine with that. The win requirement? I'm fine with that. The survive requirement? **** that. You're invalidating brawler and even some skirmisher playstyles for the challenge by requiring that. You're encouraging players to not give it their all. That ain't right.
How do you guys keep coming with scoring systems with some fatal flaw to it, over and over and over? I don't understand, its really not that hard. Hell, couldn't you even just retract or change the formula some time into the event, even if its not retroactive?

Seems the "survive" clause is showing the stripes of those who will stab their own mothers to get that cred.
A few games tonight and I will see if its worth even trying.

I don't go into these kinds of events with the sole intent of achieving what ever arbitrary goal they've set for me. I play as I always play, have fun, and just see where I'm at when I'm done. Keeps me sane.

I guess I can sell it....would rather have had a choice. Just sucks I paid REAL money for this thing pre-nerfs and now it's being given away for free. Any chance us with them in our inventory can just get a Variant we dont own?
I'm really debating on never buying mechs with real money every again....every time I do you bite me in the ass for it. I know i have bad luck but come on....at least I get an engine outta the deal i guess. Still not really worth my time to even participate.
Maybe see everyone next event...

Get a kill and an assist and hide? Your team will lose, no points.
Play smart and work as a team? Your team has a chance to get points.
This event separates the Thinking Men from the Basement Boys.
Well done, PGI. Well done.

Maybe that's the case in a group drop, but pugs aren't going to play like that. Its like river city every map, where people cower behind cover until some poor sob pushes. He dies but his team rolls over the other team.

People at least are less charging on blindly and dying the first minute. But its funny to see Atals and such hugging walls for their dear lives. Got some very bad matches but at the same time got some absolute horible matches yesterday so blaming the week end event seems a bit easy.
I'm at 3 points so can't complain but its a bit harder then I expected as people aren't pushing when they should to roll red team when an opening comes. At least it brings the normal cowardly actions from basic troops in contrast to well trained squads who with small numbers should be capable of beating superior lesser trained numbers.
Community warfare is really going to hurt ^^
