Here's one of mine
"If one is in a tug of war, it is best to push them off the cliff(Sparta) or you will be rolling downhill in a barrel."

"The best armor is not on you but the stuff that lay arounds you. (eg. rocks, stone, your friends and his friends)"

"I move in the Shadow like the wind in the grass"

"I was a terrorist, and i can't see the other guy camping in the shadow on top of that crate in de_dust" (referring to color theme of your mech)

"I cannot win this, it is best if i save everyone's time(kill yourself)"

"Best to keep the woman happy, then to play this game" (For guys who's in a relationship)

"I am a man, who grab the sun, on the fury road, to Valhalla!!!"(Know your odds, do not cower behind the rocks against a bunch of half-broken shrimps.)

"Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rage at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light."
-Dylan Thomas

“Till shade is gone,
till water is gone,
into the Shadow with teeth bared,
screaming defiance with the last breath,
to spit into Sightblinder's eye on the Last Day.”
-Robert Jordan

(If you're going to die anyway, do it with style. Don't just cower or commit suicide. Charge into the teeth of your foes, guns blazing.)

- If your mech has missile doors, open them at the beginning of the match and don't close them unless you run out of ammunition. The firing delay in waiting for the doors to open and close will get you killed far worse than the slight loss of durability from taking hits on open doors.

Last I recall this give anyone shooting at you free reign or a huge bonus on critting your internals.
On mechs like the Catapault I believe it also has the effect of essentially doubling the size of your arm hitboxes.

Nope. Open weapon bay doors meant the arm or torso did not recieve the 15% damage reduction anymore. If you shot to hit the open flap, you discovered that arm would NOT flash, but the laser would seem to have hit something and sporradically give the red reticle flash. No greater chance of crit or added damage when hit with doors open, but of course no reduction then either, so could be seen as "more" damage when open cause its full damage.

After they started taking away things like the centurions weapon bay doors and replacing these damage reductions with extra structure or armor on areas, such as catapult arms I have not had the opportunity to test again. For all I know there may no longer be any damage reduction from doors on the catapult arms. It was never even clear if the king crab and new crab which have the claws covering weaponry in arms/hands get damage reduction at all when closed - they certainly did not seem to delay fire when I have used these mechs without using the weapon bay door button to open position these claws/covers.
