It works fine for assists and then for my critical kill.
It has mobility to help the team at distance, and to finish critical mech at close, to cripple annoying light's legs.
It's fun.

ThunderWubs and WubShees work just fine. Yes, XL400 assaults can get kills, assists and survive, believe it or not.
Use the full editor; that's how you change titles.
Indeed. Wubshee 3M for the win!
how do you eat yours? i prefer 4xLPL + 4xSL (SLs are only there in the first place to push the LPLs to higher mounts, then i decided the extra 2 SLs for that emergency alpha are worth it). Keep swapping between STD 350 and XL 400, but on the whole i prefer XL400.

I fully support moar wub!
I used KTO 18 with x5Lrm5 and merrily spammed away, and when that got boring the Wubverine came out to play:P

So much less of a hassle to deal with than those 3 PPC AWS, and so much easier to kill.

Night Gyr can carry more weapons, with 4 hardwired JJs and 2 fewer hardwired DHS.
38 tons?
Comes with dual gauss stock, and can carry it effectively. Though, slower at WarHawk speed (64/71)
It's a 75 tonner with a reasonable engine size.
Where do I get mine?
LOL

Timber Wolf is the best mech for ANY format. Cuz it's kinda still broken and way out of balance with every other mech in the game?

I prefer the pre quirk 7 MPL LPL combo in my sig; although I did change a few things last night both in regards to the quirks and in anticipation for MPL ghost heat: 2 LPLs, 6 MPLs, 2 less DHS but I added Endo.
A tad hotter for a tad more damage, and more effective at range. Less effective at brawling in my opinion, but marginally. 6 of the weapons are high mounted, which is nice.

Even if you nerf Timberwolf into oblivion - some other mech will just take the title.. you gonna nerf that into oblivion too?
But whatever, until we have CW - we don't know anything about balance. Stop pretending that you do, you don't.

Screw the Timberwolf. Acquire Mist Lynx.

I don't find TBRs to be too difficult to kill. They don't typically pack enough of a front-loaded, pinpoint punch to be a threat unless you linger around them. Their twist span sucks, they can't hit anything once you remove a side torso, and the legs are nice and chewy.
An Awesome, on the other hand, can kill me in one shot anywhere between 0 and 810 meters (depending on ERPPC or PPC), pretty much negating any weakness I might be able to exploit if I slip up.

It's fast, helping you get into a kill zone to get your kill and get out to preserve your life. It's got great hit boxes with its best in class armor making it damn hard to kill even when it does get hit. And is has loads of lasers with enough firepower to almost always lap up at least 1 kill, but usually more.
The SCR proved to be the perfect mech for completing this challenge quickly. The timberwolf just has too many vulnerabilities it seems to be as survivable.

The timbers side torsos are extremely fragile, almost as fragile as a jaegers. I've never understood the hype behind them, especially with the heat nerfs to clan lasers.

It's actually very simple.
A mech with crazy firepower when left unchecked murders everything it sees. It's the same thing as a Dire Wolf.
The thing is while survivability isn't as high as I'd thought initially (it's far more durable than a Jager due to Clan XL), it does a lot of damage in a decent period of time.
I mean, you could say that a lot of mechs left unchecked will wreck face, but it's the speed of dishing damage compared to many other mechs that is incredible, while retaining speed (for a mech of that size) to get the heck out of trouble. Many other mechs cannot claim this.

You like Wub? Check out Alt Config E.
The Behemoth 6 wins on Wub; 14 MPLs stock, plus a ERSL in the head. It also has 2 CT mounted JJs
It even has a XL400, so it moves at 64/71...not bad.
Though, Ferro instead of Endo...and not nearly enough DHS. Shame we'll likely never get Clam Battlemechs...this one would be fun.
