I tried asking Russ if there is an official list of Easter Eggs in the game but I got no answer... so either there is none, there could be one but it's secret until one find one, or maybe he have no idea?

I don't know about you but I see a face...







And the video where I think anyone who get close would also see a face...

I don't know... just a few weeks ago I posted that I would like to see Easter Eggs in maps so maybe I'm watching out for those... I think I'm wishing too hard and my mind play me some tricks (I don't know the exact expression).

There is an easter egg. One of the buildings in one of the maps doesn't have a solid roof, and the inside of the building prop has a special texture.

On a serious note:
Our minds are basically rigged from birth to recognise faces, so we tend to see faces in random patterns. Like seeing a crater on Mars that kind of looks like a face if you squint. It's not necessarily a face, even when you recognise it as such.

EDIT: On another note, if it's actually an Easter egg, then it's the lamest Easter egg in the history of computer games.

If you visit River City you'll see more than one face. There are 3 similar armature of metal IIRC using the same texture.

Some of the hillsides/cliffsides have faces in them. Alpine Peaks, Terra Therma, Tourmaline, Canyon Network. I don't think I found one in Caustic Valley but I'm sure there are probably some there too.

I heard someone say they died and when their death cutscene triggered they saw some sort of dune-esque worm under the new map.

At first I thought it had to do with Elo and whether or not I was favored to lose/win the upcoming match, but I haven't been able to find enough consistent evidence to support that theory.

It kind of looks like an upright fist to me with the palm facing towards me. Looks to be about a 1/4" by 1/4 inch in the upperleft corner, right?

I've seen it too while running through the swamp. It's random. Looks a little like the Sandworm from Betelgeuse.

I think it's a leftover UI element from CryEngine that the devs haven't been able to figure out. I've seen a post from one of them about it, I'll see if I can dig it up.
