Do multiple AC2s firing in close succession register correctly? I've tried a few builds and the hit marker doesn't turn red on close consecutive shots. I've never been able to verify if it was just the marker not turning red or the damage not actually being dealt.

Nah, ghost heat on stagger fire still ruins them.

AC2 ghost heat needs to go.. they are already too hot without ghost heat.

The only downside is still the heat on AC2's - I've been running the Jagers and Shadowhawks and enjoying them like when I started.

I always disliked AC2's - until I decided to really try them out over a series of games. Turns out they do kill things after all, and what's more, AC2's are fun to play, go figure.

The hit registration thing seems to happen to most weapons, and it also seems different on different days, and at different times of the day. I suspect it has more to do with lag between the two player clients and the server, than anything else. When you shoot an Atlas in the back for 200 points of damage and he is unharmed, and doesn't even turn around? The hits are not landing, and the other pilot has no registration on his end. I'm still using ammo and heating up on my end...

Some days I'm killing like I should - others, the damage is simply not happening.

I especially like when I don't get credit for kills I clearly made, and other times when I get credited for kills I clearly did not make.

If I had to guess, I think there are issues with communication in the network environment - There's a lot going on in the middle of a brawl - to keep the game smooth some things must be being dropped. A trade off between lag and accurate score keeping, for the sake of playability.

Perhaps a way can be found to fix it, if the totality of the problem was understood.
