Mwo is not on Steam yet... so using Steam Stats for a Game not on the system is weird??? If anything it just proves that Europe players like to leave Steam on more often than Americans...
Also server load is ususally the highest during peak evening hours on North American side.... which denotes the highest player base...
This is not rocket science here.... FYI There was an interesting thread a year ago explaining how much the player base has fallen until the Phoenix Pack came out and there was a surge for a month or two and then it fell again and then the Clan invasion brought it back...
Expect to see these specific mech contents to keep rolling out... because it generates more players interested in the game...
But this wave method is bound to fail sooner than later due to big lore mechs already released and people getting tired of dropping 60+ bucks on a bunch of mechs over and over.
