OP Update:

Shuffled 10 Resistance chassis (including KGC and UM) to account for latest Hero mech releases. Most, now have all the requisite pieces for a Mastery Pack/Bundle, except for the Black Knight and Urbanmech (which need Champions).

Added the Civil War chassis under "What the Remaining Chassis Need ... ."Cougar, Uziel, Mad Cat Mk II (that seems so weird to type), and Annihilator all need Champions.

The list of chassis with no hero has shrunk to the Clan Invasion Wave 2 and 3 chassis, and the Origins (that's the IIC pack) chassis. Everything else either was introduced with a hero, or has had one created since. Only a handful of those not-yet-heroic chassis lacks a Champion (IFR, MDD, GAR; edit: also EXC, was sure it had one, was also wrong).

Happy mechin' folks.

A little disappointed modules of varying types aren't offered as incentives anymore.

PGI are removing modules soon, so it makes no sense to give modules in the early adoptor reward when there is a good chance they would have been removed from MWO before the Mechs are released.

That was a nice incentive in the pre-order packs, wasn't it?

Because they're integrating the module functionality into the skill tree (which they'd originally planned to be live already), I can see why they've pulled them.

Still, I thought it was a nice touch too.

Now, the Mastery Packs in this threads OP never had them. It still remains to be seen what will happen for these Mastery Packs when the 3-to-master rule goes away with the new skill system. I think they'll stick around, but who knows?

Edit: punctuation.

I was not aware of this. Makes sense then. But can't I still buy them?

Yes.

The new skill tree was pushed back, we don't know when its coming, so don't change your buying habits yet. A lot of people went on module buying sprees in anticipation of getting all the c-bills back, myself included. Now I'm broke, and regretting that decision lol.

yes, modules are still available for purchase, any cbills or GXP spent purchasing or unlocking them will be refunded when the new skill tree is put in game.
there were a series of public tests for the new skill tree over the past month and a half, which concluded with them putting it back into developement, a significant part of the redesign was rolling the functionality of the current modules directly into Mech skills. thereby causing the removal of the modules themselves, except the consumables.

OK, that sounds great. So all the XP I spent on skills on the current tree will be unassigned and I get to re-assign them?

By the way, thanks for the rapid response

By the way, thanks for the rapid response

the way it worked in the PTS session was;
all GXP spent on pilot skills (as in unlocking or upgrading modules) was refunded as GXP
all Cbills spent on modules (as well as cbill value for modules obtained in other ways) was refunded as cbills
all GXP and Mech XP spent unlocking Mech skills was refunded as a pool of XP available for that specific Mech varient.

as the new skill tree had you skilling individual Mechs rather than varients you could have completely diferant setups on duplicates of the same varient, so you could choose how much of the XP pool to assign to that specific Mech, or spend GXP as you can now.

there was also a cbill aspect in leveling Mechs, we do not know how much a skill will eventuraly cost, PGI said it would not be more than 45,000 cbills per skill for the 91 skill picks per Mech, out of I think about 500 skills total avaliable, aranged into multiple trees, including trees for; weapons, jumping, survivability, mobility, electronic warfare and sensors, consumables

OP updated to include more pricing data and estimates for light and medium all chassis under "Chassis That Could ..."

Note:
ClanTech OmniHeroes are priced at +/- 93.8 MC per ton. It varies between 93.75 and 93.85 thus far.

For reference, IS Battlemech Heroes (IS and ClanTech) are priced at 75 MC per ton.

It's interesting to note for me, anyway. Posted Image

Edit:

Clan Heroes II posted.

Moar updates!

What happened to the Warhammer? I looked and found that the Mastery Bundle for the Warhammer is no longer for sale.....Anywhere. It's not for sale in the in the game store or on the website "gift store".

And if you look to buy a Champion for cash, two are missing, The Hellbringer and the Warhammer.

Sooo, what is up with the Champion Hellbringer and the Warhammer Mastery Bundle?

There is no Warhammer Mastery Bundle. Never was. Only the Mech Packs.

All the new heroes and champions added in the last year have no Mastery Bundle associated (yet?).

Housekeeping:

ClanTech Wave 1 heroes are purchaseable for MC now. No news on Mastery Packs/Bundles for those chassis. Granted, several of these chassis are missing Champion (C) trial build variants. No rush, but no news either.

Announcement of Origins IIC heroes means a little shuffling in the listings for chassis that don't have Mastery Packs/Bundles yet.

OP will probably update this week.

Added Hellspawn under "The Champion(C) We Need ..." listing.

I wonder if they'll bother with adding any more of these 3-mech bundles ...

Added Piranha to "The Champion We Need ..."

I think th OP could stand to benefit from some refreshing in terms of formatting, and an update to the hero release dates which were recently tuned (reference this week's Resistance hero MC release).

Updates possible this weekend while I rest an injury.

Since I've got to be off my feet [/grumble] I may update and overhaul a bit.
