Reason being I just put 48 SRM's (4 SRM 4's x 3 alphas) into the back of a dire wolf and it did not destroy him, OK OK , Kudos for the DW for actually putting on back armor. However as before I could put my 4th alpha into the DW, I had Mad Cat come up and core me from behind, because I did not see him and thought I accounted for all mechs. Needless to say he turned me into scrap metal.
At the end of the round summary I stated I had only done 62 points of damage. When in reality it sould have been 103.2. Now aall alpha's were on his back CT Torso, yet it only registered half my damage, he was not moving nor was I.
So is this happening to others or just a wonky thing? Kinda confused by this, as if SRM's are wonky again it makes the Oxide difficult to play.

ARRRGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(absolutely right: the more you fire at once the more the server loses track of. personally I think this is a conspiracy to stop the KABLOOEY and replace it with mild pew pew)

I have seen alot of this crap lately. Even so much I am not driving my Gauss-er anymore.
I have seen 4xDual gauss fired at 70 meters into the center of a stationary Mad Dog and his
CT was only yellow after. That's 120 Damage.
I think writing about this here won't change anything. You will only get PGI's hired forum goons to come
tell you how much you must suck. That you should play diffrently and everything is shiny and working as
intended.

C&C

It is standard to kill a Dwolf with 3 alphas by an Oxide which Darian was using, including any srm collisions you allude to. Hitreg is a current problem and it appears to be worse at the moment.

Sometimes my Machineguns register properly.
Sometimes they do absolutely nothing.
I just pretend like everythings working and hope for the best.

The only time I get significantly lower damage with SRMs is when I leg lights with them, because more than half of the missiles will inevitably miss the mech completely.
I tore up a few assaults with my Oxide this evening, they seemed to take damage just fine.

Laser issue is due to the vapor of melting armor disrupting the beam and causing the beam to be less intense part of the way through the beam. Ironic thing is this is honest to god from either one of the novels or a source book and was used to describe why pulse lasers were better. Theory went that the pulses allowed for the vapor to dissipate between pulses thus concentrating the damage better.
While I lack the source, it is directly from lore, I <bleep> you not.

If they do this, and I'm not saying I'm not ok with it, it should at least be more consistent.
