Don't tell me he covers his loadout, because his TDR-9SE's loadout is super secret, and nobody must know it......

Seriously? If you want to bash my JM, you should at least have the decency to mention the quad ac2. Only talking about the paintjob is just plain rude.

No, The reason you lose 100,500 times in a row is, YOU are a statistical anomaly.

To all the guys saying that the problem is the player not the MM : you clearly don't have a ELO score high enough to experience the situation and you clearly don't know how the MM works, so please refrain from posting on the subject.

And as far as I'm concerned about the green camo, I consider them as an easy kill most of the time.

Right
You're CLEARLY an elite Elo player while the rest of us are easy kills because we drive green mechs...

No, we are calling the OPs Exaggeration into question. To loose 100K+ matches in a row IS a statistical improbability.

Specifically because of Elo and how it works.

Whoa...see...I saw the title and figured that, unlike 99% of terribads in games it WASN'T going to say:

"FAIL TEAM GGCLOSE!"

Sigh.

I'm slightly colorblind, so the green appears as either orange or brown to me depending on range and lighting.

In any case, choosing your targets based on paint scheme means one thing: You aren't abusing the hell out of your "R" key. True, a brightly colored mech will stand out more and be more likely to be spotted, but unless you've spotted enemies outside of targeting range there should be no reason to prioritize based on build.

Most of the mechs I drop against/with are some combo of black, blue, red, green or brown. The only brightly colored mechs I see are the stock heroes that people haven't gotten around to repainting yet. Hell, I make a point of not repainting mechs until I've found a build I like. Makes it easier to see which mechs I haven't played often or enjoyed playing.

No I'm not an elite player : i'm just good and i play often. But saying the MM is flawless is a huge nonsense, especially when you reach the end of the gaussian ELO curve. And for the record, I consider myself good when i manage to beat good opponents not when i kill 4 ennemy Mechs that were just here to bring their team ELO down.

And if you want more statistics about green mechs, just check the number-crunching posts of Kiiyor about trial Mechs, it's just terrible : they should have their own match instead of getting thrown in the lions' den.

And how exactly does one figure out where on the Elo curve they reside?

When you see green mech, that actually means, that this is:
1) Newbie
2) New mech
3) Trial mech
4) Player, who don't care about this game
5) Player, who can't afford 0.56$ to buy single-time camo and 3$ to buy some colors (i.e. child?)

In all cases you know, that this player will most likely underperform. And, therefore, when you see, that the whole your team looks like this and when you're losing again, again and again due to this - then something is definitely wrong with MM.

When you censor your own build

1.) Insecure

2.) Insecure

3.) Insecure

4.) Insecure

According to the OP's outstanding mathematical evaluational expertise, it appears to depend directly, on how many "Green" Mechs end up on your team. Few is Good, many is Bad. We can ignore any and all other reason they may be "Green" of course.

I was convinced immediately of course.

P.S. When I looked at the Pic, I thought he meant it was because of the Starship Enterprise the other team brought to the fight... (up and right of the forward Yager) LOL!
