they need to fix that top left torso box to not count as ct but the left torso instead, cuz you know.... its on the left torso.

Or, simply eliminate it as a hitbox completely, considering it's just a block that adds to target mass, despite being a freaking light (that doesn't work) and provides no combat function whatsoever.

Yeah, smart players will aim for that sucker since you can hit it from any angle.

Maybe the term should be "informed" players then since I'm sure the vast majority in game have never been to the forums to see the hitboxes on various mechs.

Reason i think its still borked? I see damage come in on my CT, before spreading to my other parts, even if I twist to reduce damage to the CT and spread it about etc

Even when its clear they have not hit my CT to beging with.

Either way, I have had some good matches in the HBR-A and the Prime. Need a good B varient now.

much better, but why is that flood light CT? that makes no sense at all.
The mch si already a very wide one.

Even after the fix the mech is pretty squishy, but it probably should be to some extent.

Can't really play like a normal heavy, it's more like a big arsed cicada 3m. If you can make it until the end game you'll probably get a few kills with your tri-beam cannon and head laser. Don't be a target until after the big clash, then just walk around and clean up.
Oh you're going over here to hide your crit CT? Sneak, sneak, sneak. See ya. :-D

The back armor hit box is too big. Otherwise okay. Armor that back though.

Just don't show it to the enemy and you'll be fine. Usually 7 is fine for rear STs, 9 for rear CT. Front load the armor for brawling.

As many have stated and my recorded hitboxes confirm, that raised spotlight hump on the left shoulder is a front CT hitbox from any angle. Keep that in mind and try to use your right side as a shield. Most of your important equipment should be on the left (ECM and 3 energy hardpoints in that left torso) if you run energy-heavy anyway. Otherwise, use spinning to throw lasers off a particular point, and to spread damage.

This mech has better hitboxes now than probably 75% of all mechs, as well as clan XL survivability. Since the hitbox fixes, I have been wrecking opponents much larger and heavier than the 65 tons the HBR takes up. I can really see the HBR being the most popular CW clan mech after the Timber and Crow. If I were a clanner, I would take 3 Hellbringers and an Ice Ferret sniper.

But I'm with the good guys, so I will settle for my Crabs. ;)

I didnt know quite what people were talking about the "spotlight", but figured it out after i posted.

Any ideas what the changes were today? Wondering if they fixed the light box on LT or the arm pass-through bug yet.
