The only time I find it annoying is when I lose a side torso and it's counting every single thing I lost on that torso and arm, while much more vital things going on during that time is totally left out.

And yet people want the feeling of their mech falling apart around them. Apparently warnings of destroyed equipment and flashing critical damage warnings are not enough.

People want to hear her voice more because they like her voice. Not that they want actual useful information in the future my car talks to me a with a female voice. It's so novel and modern.

As Raziberry pointed out in another thread. She tells me my Jumpjets are at 25% after already hitting the ground.

I prefer the beeping of incoming LRM missiles from MW4 because its faster and gives me more time to react. I don't know I find I am ignoring the voice more and more because it tells me old information.

It should stay just not nearly as pestering as it is now. I can't hear her phone sex voice while I'm being pummeled by Auto Cannons. I just find it very impractical as I can't hear the info over brawling combat sounds.

Although I do find her narration of my missing weapons actually useful, when I'm trying to escape in a light mech. I guess what I'm trying to get at, is that I prefer alarms and beeps over talking.

Thoughts opinions? Anyone else feel the voice is excessive and annoying?

Include a Bitching Bruno for women?

Racing games have verbosity sliders to control how much the navigator says... that was my point duh.

I've been getting a lot of vibe from this topic about how she should have more vocabulary or be silent, why not have a male counterpart, Like Louie? Then we wouldn't have to complain about her, but him instead.(HORRIBLE IDEA)

It's not that the vocabulary is the problem it's the timing of the comments and their usefulness.
"Warning... Incoming Miss " Ow Ow ow.
Also the jumpjet fuel comment is pretty useless, considering Jumpjets have changed so much. People just like hearing her voice because they like her voice. You pay to hear some one's voice, because, you like their voice.

Which is exactly what my comment is about.

I want Bitching Betty to talk twice as much as she does now. And I want her to start every match by telling me about local time, ambient temperature, altitude and atmosphere. When an enemy mech has stayed powered down for more than 15 seconds and powers up, I want her to say "Enemy power up... detected."

I also want a long list of check boxes so I can choose what sort of stuff I want Betty to warn me about verbally, and what sort of warnings I just want in flashing red letters.

And I want a different voice for either Clan mechs or Inner Sphere mechs. Although a different voice for each faction would be awesome. Angry chinese military lady for House Liao!

Actually, Enemy Power Up would be a pretty useful comment.

I think an Alarm for Inbound Aerofighter would be pretty sick too. That's if PGI is able to implement Consumable AI units. Into the game.
I can accept your comment as long as there is a check box. Otherwise it just becomes Audio book listen to robo-girl talk the video game. lol

The Game doesn't need to be Listen to Betty Online Dang it lol

I agree that the "Incoming Missile" warning could be replaced with a simple series of beeps, especially since getting LRM'd to death mean you'll hear her rant on and on until your core out.

The other thing I would change is her saying "Target Acquired" every time you lock target. I get that I have a target acquired, I hit the button for it and a big red box shows me it worked. I don't need to near "New Target Acquired" 12 times and then again ever time I swap targets. If not removed entirely then I'd like to see it moved to when you get a missile lock, although I also think there is enough audio-visual feedback on this already.
