Wave II Faction Content selection is now available!

Players who have purchased any Clan Invasion Wave 2 Collection can now select the pack(s) they want to be included with their Collection!

PLEASE NOTE

You can select multiple instances of the same Faction Content Pack if you wish to acquire duplicates of the included Cockpit items.

Be aware that the Faction Colors and Faction Patterns are considered 'Unlocks', and will only be granted once.

The choice is yours, MechWarrior. Choose wisely.

I still don't understand.
If I get each of the four packages, do I get 12 new colours to use on all my 'Mechs? Colours are usually unlocked for all units. Or do I just get four 'Mechs that can use those colours, not unlike the invasion colours, restricted to the unit they came with?
What if I choose four of the Falcon set? Does that mean I only get 1 pattern, but on four chassis?

Colors are universal - so if you pick all 4 you get 12 colors

Patterns are per chassis (NOT variant!) so you get 12 (or 15 if MDD counts) perma-unlocked camo patterns if you pick all 4


Only reason to pick multiples of one is if you want multiples of the cockpit items.

The colors are available on all chassis, the camos can only be used on wave 2 and, later on, wave 1 mechs. The pattern is unlocked for all chassis no matter how many times you pick the same pack. HOWEVER if you pick the same pack multiple times, you get multiple of the warhorn and cockpit items, but no new camos or colors obviously. So it's up to you if you want more camos and colors, or more falcon goodies.

Seems to imply faction skins will be unlocked for the 'Mechs you pre-ordered at your level. (plus Mad Dog, if you got it also, according to Russ's post).

I'm curious if they same will be applied to the Resistance Mech packs? That would be cool cause I don't want Liao colors or designs

It does apply to both, and I'm assuming that they come free for wave 1 if you purchased and got any wave 2 faction packs.

All I see in the roadmap is that the faction skins will later be retrofitted to work with wave1 mechs. It does not say they will be given or unlocked for wave 2. I'm pretty sure that you will have to pay for the skins for those mechs.
