Okay, I have decided (read: admitted) that I don't have time to participate in a tight Mercenary Corp or out-of-game guild, but I do want to choose a Faction for Community Warfare purposes.

So, other than the spit-roasted red meat, copious mead, powerful yet beautiful blonde women, salted smoked fish, cultural independence, and hardened battlefield ferocity... why should I join the FRR?

Frontline against the clans.
We'll be getting rolled pretty hard with CW hits, so lots of action and chances to win entrance in Valhalla.
Our Faction tag is pretty cool looking, and our skin has awesome Norse designs on it. We're mostly made up of Viking-culture embracers, if you are into that sort of thing. And we have clear underdog status in all things.

Others can probably give you fluff reasons and such.

If I joined the FRR, could I change my pilot name to Antonio Banderas and become the 13th MechWariror?

Yes, you could.

But we'll make you fight tabu, and you only get three shields...

Also, being in the FRR is basically like this..

All the time. Every time.

So, my girlfriend is very feisty. I think that you would be quite unsuccessful if you tried to tie her to the mast of a ship and set it on fire upon my death.

Would this measure against me during my enlistment?

No. Only good feisty women are acceptable. We need all the warriors we can get.

Tyra Miraborg.

Single-handedly stopped the Clan Invasion for a year.
By flying her fighter into the bridge of the Clan Wolf capital ship and killing the IlKhan.

We have a lot of feisty women in the FRR. She'd fit right in.

Okay, my girlfriend shoots a Barrett M82 for pleasure. I think she'd fit in, too.

Well, then, as long as nobody has objection... I'm going to visit my Profile page for a moment...

Edit: How do I look in blue?

You look like a Viking.

Here is your shield and spear. Stabby end goes into their soft fleshy parts, big circle thing stops their stabby parts. Good luck! ;)

I assume that I can skip the crew-cut, right? These flowing locks are made for fighting...

And, don't I get 3 shields? I want a steel shield for fighting, a bronze shield to cook on, and a wood shield to chop up and burn to cook my food with the bronze shield.

Oh, geeze, I just put 2 and 2 together... I graduated from Portland State University back in 2006. Guess what the PSU mascot is?

Come on, guess... just guess...

There is no hell. There is only Valhalla. "Hell" is a myth they teach to small children in order to make them into young gentlemen. Gentlemen who rip the souls out of their defeated foes, steal all their women, and eat the horses on-site.
