To push more teamwork, especially in the Single Cue, if someone takes lance or unit command and gives orders, how about a small award of xp/c-bills to both the commander and the person following the order?
Other online games have had similar features and it's helped greatly with random teams. It doesn't need to be a lot either, just enough to provide an incentive.

Players should definitely get some kind of XP/Reward for following an order given. And if the order was given by a player with a Command Console, maybe that'd yield heigher rewards than other players to provide incentive for the Command Console. Besides just obtaining item-tied-quirks.

I do not wish to be beholden to wannabe armchair generals. Not saying anyone here is, but I am saying we all know at least one.

Players already have the ability to give orders, that wouldn't change. Only an incentive to listen would be new. and it's just an incentive, you can still be free to ignore teamates to your hearts content

This is a great idea....if PGI is giving credit for 'lance formation' already a couple o' points for moving to an indicated way point shouldn't be that difficult and would likely go a long way to getting new recruits to understand the importance of teamwork...
a hearty Hazah! to Father Tork for this idea...
