Short answer: No

Long answer: All I can say is... the QQ will be much sweeter... confirming that bad mechs+pilots are still bad.

I think it should because CW will have a different balancing needs and discussions than PUGs. Though I think it should be a subsection of the General Forums.

Probably not, we don't need or have a Conquest or Skirmish forum. I don't see why we would need a CW forum. And invasion and/or defense posts would be made in the appropriate House forums, everything else is just MWO.

Balancing--- you think the PUGs cry a lot wait until the try hards’ start getting stomped

But I am somewhat skeptical that PGI won’t do some balancing (even though they say there won’t be)

One big reason is in the very nature of lasers
With lasers there is no ballistic drop there is no need for “range and angle tracking”, just point and click (so without any buff or nerf you can die pretty quick)

Thoughts?

Well I think the balancing issues will become increasingly more prevalent when they start adding in other mechanics to it like logistics. I mean look at the number of people with Clan Wolf icons vs Clan Jade Falcon. It won't be so much the Mechs and weapons but more the mechanics of the game itself that will need tweaking

So long as it's not restricted to the "comp" team most likely to be heavily active in CW (I plan to be involved in CW with HHGD, but not on the scale some are, at least not to start).

The internet was made for people to cry on. (Originally it was designed so that if there was a nuclear war, the few surviving people in caves a mile under the earth could cry about how horrible it was. Scientists then realized that the internet was the greatest crying technology ever invented, and that is why we are all so fortunate.

Personally I don't think it shoudl be it's own forum, because separating all the posts by genre make them hard to notice new stuff.

I am not against the idea, but I would suggest we wait and see the type of posts that show up in General Discussion before deciding on a fork. Something I hope will happen with the new Community Manager is a look at the forums to see how they might better be organized.

Yes we should have one.

CW specific topics need a separate area to reduce clutter and help get feedback/issues seen by PGI on CW topics.

Nobody needs to sift thru the BS posts that are in General to find relevant CW info.

Greetings all,

No, to the additional forum.

BUT, yes, to another main thread heading.

- We currently have,
1. Training Grounds,
2. Developers Corner,
3. MWO Universe,
4. Support and Feedback,
5. Off-Topic,
6. International

Community Warfare should have it's own header and branched thread titles.
- Most likely reference to the Factions, gameplay, maps, and the Ui.
- Some of the current CW threads can be moved and placed within this new header.
- As PGI stated this CW gameplay is about 'roleplaying and Groups' so will need topics directly related to these aspects.

- Addition of some location for international members responses.
(at this point, the problem arises with duplication of threads for the various languages, but we'll let PGI handle that.)
