I am using a 5 SPL Locust and i can safely say they i am just taking space on my team.
I want someone who can do locusts right team up with me so i can see how he does it.
Please no guides, just some jolly co-op is what i am asking.

Stuck working today and tomorrow, and I don't know that I'd necessarily label myself a "master" but if you want to run Locusts together for fun and profit, send me a friend invite and I'll try to make some time sometime. Just know that in group queue, the game will be much more difficult.

Im no 'Master' but usually pull 150 damage 1 kill in an E (xl170 3MPL).

I would post the request over here:

I love my locusts. I believe you are running the 3m. I've had several 600 damage games and multiple kills. My tricks are simple.
1) stay with the group and stay close to the assaults/ heavies. Be the smallest least threatening target.
2) keep moving. Stop only when you have cover or know that the big guy you are standing next to has all their attention. On second thought, just keep moving.
3) no shame in running from a fight. Run from everyone endless you have a buddy with you.
4) learn to circle.

An amazingly fun mech, one mistake and poof your face first into the dirt

If another light sees you when your running alone - especially a FS and a Jenner- do think seriously of running away, they will typically outgun and out armour you. You may be faster/agile but their gun range can easily deal with that

Escort another mech with ECM like a Pirates Bane and initially hunt for lone mechs to sting to death. If none around then scout and spot for your team.

As Duncan says - keep moving, just not accidently into the enemy team ;)!

move away from the 5SPL setup. try something like 3MPL + 2SL or even 3ML+2SPL

Keep moving, stick to cover, don't get too aggressive unless you've got friends around.

You really want to just try and be 'forgotten' when everything is going on. Most of the time you will sit around until the brawl starts because you don't want to be off alone or taking damage early.

Keep moving is always plus but you don't really always need to keep moving. You'd be amazed at how long you can stand and make good shot without being noticed or as above just completely overlooked when everyone is fighting.

And just think ahead, have an exit strategy when you are running around.

friend me if you want. While not a master, I do use the locust more than just about anything else I have and usually pull decent rounds with them.

If you play the locust like other lights you will die constantly. You are a fast agile mech, but die to a single decent shot. All you have to do is stay back with the main group and pick off targets weaving through traffic shooting as you go. It takes a while to get used to, but once your are, you'll easily pull 400-600 damage a match with 1-4 kills depending on your kill shots.
