Well back to the 32% win if you are a 4 man or less in group queue, as 73% time we fight against 8 man or higher. Game has finally become the most frustrating game that will never change. Look back and compare. This game is still the same as it always been. The same grind, one new map that has been worked to death. New Mechs yea NOT! The game is the same it has not improved, same grind. Same thing everyday. Same connection problems. Same one sided matches, more now then ever. Cw is mentioned but it will not change a thing it will still be this endless roll over grind. And IMO I dont believe this game will go any further, then it is now. Just more lying.

Anyone that is in a small group has experienced the twisted matchmaker. 3 4 mans against 10-12 man more then 65% of our drops last night.
As said before IMO this game is on its last legs NOTHING has changed. The last 35 friends, of over 300 on my friends list that stopped playing, are all in alphas or betas of the next round of games coming out. And upgrading their systems for better programming then this train wreck that still has bugs from the very start. And the list of things wrong in this game has not changed.
There is no community here and will never be in this game. The frustrations in this game will never end, and the verbal wars in matches and team killing id just rising.

PUG lyfe, yo. That's where all the PUGs go, eventually. It chose us man. It said, "Yo, bro, you, you're a PUG. Don't knock it, man."

And we did. It's hard out there bein' a PUG, but mang, it beats the alternative. Ya know, we could be, well, one of them, right? Don't resist the calling. Come to the PUG side. That is, until you find a competent clan or something to join.

I didn't choose the PUG life.. the PUG life chose me.

I have zero problems getting winning streaks of 10+ matches in the groups.

Then again, some nights, it could very well be 10+ losing streaks instead. It largely depends on the players you bring, how many people you have, and what the overall mood is.

I'm exclusively a group player since august 2013.

I like how the OP's name has 'Zealot' in it.

I imagine him as the guy in rags on the street corner informing us the sky is falling and the Rapture is coming soon ™.

you win some you lose some, yeah, but it sure sucks feeling penalized for playing anything less than a lance in group que.

Yeah, it's horrible. My 4 man went 3-0 vs 12 mans last night. It really sucks. 12 man teams need a buff.

Duo teams and small groups are fleeing the group queue and not looking back, is my guess, and it's making it worse.

First off, since PGI bucked IGP off its back my friends list is always filled now. Seems like old players are coming back, new players being added. I am sure PGI has a larger player base than all these "seat of the pants" stats I see, which coincidentally are always from someone who is bitter about something in the game.

Second, I drop often in just a 2 man. I almost never see all these crazy waffle stomps that are claimed. At least not in the numbers that are claimed. Do they happen? Yes sometimes, but usually no. And the times I have see them it is usually a top tier team dropping with 8 plus unit mates. I am talking Lords, 228, SJR, RJS, QQ, etc etc. And quite frankly as I am a "casual" player I expect that if those people show up in numbers. I am sorry, but the 12 man boogeyman, in group que is not near as large as people make it out to be. Usually its a mixed bag of other smaller groups.

Just my personal experience.

You win some you lose some

I can definitely see with newer players who want to play with a couple buddies in the group queue though....
mind-blowing frustration sometimes up against big groups

Here's a thought. Learn to have fun that doesn't involve winning.

Perhaps by dropping with people you actually know, not just random strangers you met on the intarwebz. Shocking, but actual friends can be fun. Plus you learn to work together and can coordinate mechs if you want to be competitive vs casual.

Or maybe learn to enjoy being down on kills and trying to pull a win out. Or take a few with you.

Or take a break and come back for CW.

Or join a good unit and benefit from practice sessions. And good lance mates.

Unless you are a uber leet gamer, then yea MWO sucks, so move on.

Yeah I doubt you're fighting multiple 10 and 12 mans all night. There's hardly any ever in queue. The most common drop is probably around 5-7.

i can say anything and get all in an uproar matchmaking has been bad in the fact that my group can be in 1-6 man and get fed the new players or just bad players. That is why the percentage are that. I have 2 different groups that will say the same thing. For us solo is the only way to really enjoy fighting. But we have known each other for 4-20 years, and group up to see 10 -12 man groups. When we grouped with experienced players we have beat the full teams, but 1-4 as our team will fall back while we try to push with more numbers then realize we are all alone and die. Or the sheep mentality standing in one place to die, leaving our four man to suffer badly. Now IMO the only way we get good players is if there are not any new people to group with. This is how i see it.
