Any IS can participate and any Clan I believe. Much higher chance of that happening. So all the contentions up there between them is what you want.

Maybe Verthandi is threatened by Steiner, it doesnt look like it, but theres no way to tell.

Right now the contested planets seem to be PGI picked. I did notice everything had no contract money, and now some things have contract money attached up north by the clans...so somethings happening. Havent seen a match yet.

Im going back and forth between Verthandi and Spica, trying to see if something happens.

I asked that question during one of the town hall meetings. I was assured, by Russ, it was going to be available to me as a solo player. As long as there are openings in attack/defend teams, it will leave openings for solo players to fill out the team to 12v12.

I'm seeing "no contract available" at verthandi... Had "defense needed" notifications for New Caledonia and Holmsbu, tried joining but it seems to just sit at 0/12... Confused, do I need to be in a unit or full group to attack/defend? Just solo at the moment.

edit - new caledonia it is then I guess? I'm queued up for the defense..

AH HAH that seems to be an issue.

We have a defense contract, but you dont have an attack contract. The same seems true on Caledonia. I dont have an attack contract to go after you there.

Yeah, it's not even 5pm anywhere in the US TimeZones. A lot of us are still at work and boggled by this announcement.

And I imagine of those who are in college or something? There's a lot of frantically trying to figure out a Drop Deck since they had one less weekend of play than expected. I'm not even sure what I'll do. Definitely won't have a competitive one since I'm probably a good 12 Million Cbills short of all the weapons modules I need (Minimum need another set of ERLL modules and Adv. Zoom just to take my two best mechs - CDA3M and ECM Raven into battle at full capacity), and probably more beyond that to get a truly good deck given I seem to stick with certain weapons across mechs I use.
