Seriously, where is everyone at? Do I have to be apart of a Unit? Im in the Clan Wolf. When I click on a Planet to attack or defend, No one else is joining. I have stood in the lobby myself for the last 10 minutes. Can someone help me?

This has been reported as a bug.
It will not refresh the name list until an entire team of 12 players has loaded out their dropdecks and chose "attack" or "defend."

You do not have to be part of a group, but the more players you bring with you in a group, the faster it will be ready to let you drop, because the fewer number of player slots need to be filled to have a full 12 player team.

So if we don't have a team of players from our faction it looks for others? I haven't read much on CW but would love to participate.

Pretty much. I've had one match against the Jade Falcons as Steiners. Everyone just suddenly 'appeared' after 3 minutes of waiting.

If a pre-made group queues up for a planet, it looks like solo-players are considered when the MM fills out the sides.

I am completely lost.

So I was part of NTEX, which I think is a UNIT
I log in to the game today
Go to FACTION tab
There is a nice map
I click on worlds, some info comes up about its topology and sometimes some stuff like ATTACKER WINS 11 and NO CONTRACT IS AVAILABLE.
Now what?

11 attacker wins = Planet is defeated. Can't defend/attack said planet, it's a goner.

Check out another planet, and make sure to change "Not Ready" to "Ready" and then it will let you get into the match maker.

From there it says "attackers needed at X planet."
When it's full, it says "Defenders needed" to your enemies.

I don't think 11 means done, it just means the defenders have to win 6 matches to keep from losing. The terminology I heard was there are 11 tokens and whoever has 6 at the end of the Attack Phase get/keeps control.

Thus some "defends" can be attacks due to counter-attacks to remove tokens etc.

I'd love to play more, I got into 3 matches last night as the token Raselhague player.

True, not necessarily done, but taken over. If your team gets 11 wins on the planet, you can't attack it anymore; instead you must defend it (requiring you to deselect and reselect the planet).

Greetings MechWarriors,

We are currently sending out a hotfix with the following fixes:
  • Planets no longer show more than 11 wins for a planet

I agree where is everone? At this point I really wish they had an auto function that you click like public or private but drop in faction instead and will auto assign clan vs inner sphere or faction simi allies vs other simi allies on other border planets.

Correct. Unlike standard matches, there is no separate queue for pugs and groups. Solo droppers will be pulled to fill out incomplete teams, so you absolutely do not have to be a part of a unit to participate. It will be rough because you'll be facing mostly coordinated groups, but you can still join.

iv seen a number of pugs beat back a number of unit drops all ready its not imposable to win in a pug but you must work together

I believe only your unit leader can apply for a contract with a side. If your leader is "afk leader" you wouldn't be able to join battles (i couldn't, until i left the unit).

I believe wait times are long because of the bugs. People can't see the queues and fill them up accordingly.

What he said ^

If you are a member of a Unit, your unit leader has to accept a contract with a faction before you can drop in CW.

...and yes the queuing system is buggy as hell atm.
