Thanks for the clarification guys, looks like there might be hope yet. Maybe we're just running out of attacking clanners on that planet?

Wouldn't be suprised if that defense message flashed every time a single player lined up to attack. Anything below 12 clanners at the same time won't do much good though...

I don't know about clanners, but defenders aren't 12 yet. When a team hit the 12 players mark, even if the other team isn't complete, you begin to see your buddies name and can access the chat.

I think the message pops up if someone joins the queue for the planet....currently waiting at Turtle Bay for only 1 minute...see how things go.

Who was the attacker at Turtle bay anyway? Smoke Jaguars?

In the queue for Turtle Bay, hopefully we get something soon.

Just finished my first match on Somerset. Much more fun than the standard matches. Maybe just because it's new. Fun none the less.

Only a few times did I get the lag spike. Not too bad, but it did cost me my right side once.

One balance quibble: Defenders ALWAYS have the advantage. They need to get less drops or something. Only a crazy man attacks a defended position with equal numbers.

True. A good start would be to give defenders 'Mech hangars instead of armed dropships; the latter are a PITA, especially on the more open map, Boreal. Defenders already have turrets covering their DZ, they don't need dropships with their weapons. Besides, it would make much more sense that a base has hangars.
