I just "Defended" a Rasahauge planet vs Wolf, but I was counterattacking. During the match, after my last death, it flashed "you've achieved rank 1" and showed my 556 loyalty points on the end of round screen. Then when I returned to the mechlab it said 'we're disappointed in you: 0 loyalty points". Then it gave me 50K c-bills. So which is it? Did I get loyalty points for that match or not? It gave me rewards like I did... This whole defending by counterattacking is flawed. Take that beta concept back to alpha.

The end card you receive is for the contract itself. If you succeed in your attack/defense/counter-attack you receive the listed bonus cbills and lp. If you don't succeed then you get the disappointed end card and move on. No effect on your end-game lp gain.
