hello it seam that you have release the CW a bit earlier ... well ....that causing me a big deal of problem right now

first I was not presented with a choice of faction when I first logged in.
I was automatically assign to clan jade falcon. (probably because of our stupid units leader who don’t understanding the CW at all) you see I don’t own any clan mech.

so I when and cancelled the contract (cost 200.000 cbills) ****I WANT REFUND ON THAT****
then saw that 2 days wait period...................................... I WANT THAT REMOVE
and realized that I can’t join HOUSE DAVION and that I cant play with my HOUSE DAVION friends in CW

I am stuck with that ugly clan jade flacon for 2 day and I don’t own any clan mech. all that because you released your stuff earlier. don't get me wrong I like it but because I missed a day and the unit leader chosed clan jade flacon I AM STUCK IN CLAN JADE FLACON WITHOUT ANY CLAN MECH for 2 days and I can't join the unit I wanted

the game did not propose me a choice when I first loged in

I WAS AUTOMATICLY ASSIGN TO CLAN JADE FALCON


Please help me by doing somthing

This is working as intended. If you want to fight for house Davion you need to either-

1. Convince your unit to play as Inner Sphere.
2. Leave your unit and find another, Davion, unit.

This was all described in the different waves of information regarding CW from the devs.

Why would I need to read again? What I said is true. You need to either drop your current unit, then either play as a solo Davion, or drop your current unit and join a Davion unit to play as Davion in CW. Your current unit leader chose Clans. So now you are with the clans.

You need to read again. Or you should have been reading how all this works as it has been posted for a month plus now. As I said. working as intended.

I cant play as davion there is a 2 days wait period once you cancel a contract. you not knowing this mean you did not read my post

and it was released 6 day earlier ,

and I was not at home yesterday.

I did not have any choice

I was planing on leaving the unit just not yesteday because it was supposed to be release onty next week

No I read it. That was also described in the dev notes. How did you not know which faction your unit was going to join? I knew which mine was going to join. Cause you know... I asked my unit leader. Weeks ago. PUG land for you for 2 days I guess. Working as intended and described by the devs. There has to be a penalty for switching factions, or everyone would be switching constantly.

it was suppose to be release the 16th I was not at home yesterday I did not had to possibility to leave the unit yesterday when they chosed clan jade flacon. yesterday in my mind was not the relese of CW it was in 1 week form then.

Well, if it was going to be relased on the 16th, it really shouln't be a problem for you to wait until the 13th or 14th, should it?

Why would you be in a group that was not going to be Davion anyway? I joined the law for 2 reasons They are Lyran AND they are a military Frat house!

Ah I see. That is a bummer. I can see why you would be upset. There is really nothing to do but take a break for a couple days or PUG for a couple days. I am sorry you can not experience CW until then. I love it so far, it is fun.

So if real life is more important (and it should be) wait 2 days, take care of real life things and then all will be well. It's only a game.

solo queue with trials clan mechs ? earning LP from a faction that is opposite to house davion , no thanks I think my time will be better spend trowing my rage at those forum.

It's possible. I did it with my alt account prior to our lead getting on and assigning us a faction. The Crow and the Timber can hold their own. The trial Kit and the rest... That's the difficult part. At least on the Kit you have the Erll and the lb5x you can lean into for range situations.


Your rage is misplaced! This is square on your unit and your units ability to effectively communicate within itself.

1) This is not PGIs fault. It is your fault and particularly your unit leaders fault. PGI made it extremely clear that the unit leader chooses group affiliations ... and everyone in the group would share the affiliation. If you have a problem with your affiliation take it up with your group leader or leave the group.

2) There is a complete set of clan trial mechs as far as I know. Not an ideal solution but you should be able to make up a 240 ton drop deck from the clan trials available. You could then play on the clan side. If your unit or anyone else complains I think you have a great reason for using trials since your unit leader either decided intentionally to mess everyone up, made a mistake, or somehow the group decided to go clan. It sounds to me that your unit leader was clueless when he started CW and did not realize that everyone in the unit would share the same affiliation he chose when he started ... though maybe I am wrong.

Anyway, the bottom line is that it is your problem, not PGIs ... drop in the public queues for 2 days, drop in clan trials in CW for 2 days ... then choose the affiliation you want or choose a group to play with that already has that affiliation.

it is pgi fault in a way because they did a stealthy release. find me the post where you see the announcement of the release date. there is none. I would have left the unit before that date if I knew it, unfortunately I was not present.

it is my former unit leader fault for not creating a new unit for hes clan buddy or kicking out any one not present during the day the decision was made and mine too I should have left when I realized they were all playing clan mech under a house davion banner.

but all that happened during the last 2 weeks.... I did not really had time to make friend but enemy now yes...

iywmho pgi should have disbanded every single player form any existing units (delete the whole folder and start over) that would have save me and a lot of people a lot of trouble.
