same here, problem accured right after CW patch, and affects all weapons and game modes. It`s very similar to the times when "host state rewind" still was not in game. To my mind, devs should pay exceptional attention for this problem, cause if they gone holidays and doesn`t fix hit reg, they completly spoil CW presentation.

if you have same hit reg issues, bump this topic up with messages, so devs can pick out really important problems from all that cw related whine

Same here. At first i thought it was just the Spiders and Ravens, but I've had it on a few of the bigger mechs now too. It's much worse that it has been the last few months at least.

Hit detection has always been terrible in this game, even with a steady 30-40ms ping. Now it's even worse than pre-HSR. Unplayable. (pug queue - haven't tried CW)

Hit detection. Nope. Never heard about it
Ingame you are lucky if you have distance to shoot twice, or better triple, to connect your ammo with an enemy at least once.
Can't connect gauss with a King Crab from 50 meters because (OMFG!) it has 60kmph speed

I get the feeling they have max out their server resources too much.

Yep, hit detection is almost non-existent now.

Shooting light mechs with lasers seems to be the worst culprit. My ping isn't the greatest but this week is far far worse than it was before. My damage numbers on laser based mechs are down by almost half. AC / SRM seem to work okay.

The lag is terrible and the hit registration abysmal.

This problem needs to be addressed quickly.

It really does feel like this, during peek times hit detection also seems to suffer. I'm sure adding all these cooldown modules for weapons has not helped either having to calculate different rates of fire for mechs and now the IS quirks also.

Trout ?
Video is unavailable ?

But yeah ... Hitreg went somewhere else in many CW matches .
Killed a Jenner yesterday by aiming 3-7mm (approximately on my screen) in front of him ... originally I wanted to laser a line into the ground in front of him like saying " and no further !" ... instead he popped :)
Shot an Awesome in the left arm ... server said that I hit open right shoulder and that arm fell off

bad hit reg is also creates huge issue with "light zerg rush" tactics in CW, big mechs just cant hit lights, while lights shoot at stationary object

I walked up to a myst lynx earlier on viridian (not CW) and cracked him in the back point blank with 3 SRM 6's and it barely scratched his armor. Never seen that before, I thought the SRMs were fixed so is this new to the patch?

it`s not about SRMs, hit registration has been broken since CW patch, at the moment you should aim in advance

Same prob here. Nearly impossible to hit fast moving or jumping opponents. Even laserfire seems to evade the target...

Hit Detection is horrible now, laser fire does not seem to hit opponents even when positioned dead center over the enemy mechs.

I love and support MWO, no matter how many patches break my heart on the different mechs I own, but your last patch while bringing in community warfare totally destroyed hit detection. I know I am on a 250ms ping doesn't help things, but for the past 6-7 months the game was wonderful as hit detection worked.

I just wished the dev's would acknowledge this as an issue and say something about it.
