since cw update my ping has doubled aswell from 150 ish to 250-300

Currently I feel obligated to use auto-aimed weapons, ie streaks and lrms, because those are server controlled so at least I know it will hit its mark.


Streaks seem especially effective given their propensity to ignore terrain (aka pass through walls) at the moment.
Very noticeable on maps like mining colony when you duck behind walls to be splatted regardless.

Depend sometimes some guys take 0 hits sometimes others guys take theirs hits ...

But lasers are more sensible with that ... tips take pulse

This is a critical issue - no matter how much they improve community warfare it's useless if you can't hit anything with the games' iconic weapon system.

Same problems with Hit Registration here. I've pounded multiple other lights with 64 SRMS today and barely scratched them in a moving firefight where my reticle changes to show hits and the animation for contact plays on the other mech.

It's not just CW issues, and it's particularly bad with lasers. I hit a disconnected Stormcrow in the back CT and was hitting his front armor (I moved around a bit, but kept hitting his front), and I've had issues where ML damage just doesn't register well. Seems worse the longer the beam durration is, like some part of the beam durration isn't registering, or an issue with IS non-pulse lasers in general..
