I'm surprised more people haven't mentioned the Assassin.

In the board game I almost always had one of these on my side when I played. A lot depends on how targeting and hits will happen, but I always relished being able to maneuver almost anywhere and get shots off without the target having a viable shot in return. Eventually working behind the enemy formations while the heavies held the enemy's attention and needling away at the poor rear armor.

Honestly, I'd just like to see a few of the 'mechs that are iconic in the tabletop game, but which we haven't seen in the MechWarrior games before. Things like the Hawks (of either the Shadow or Phoenix variety), or the Firestarter, and maybe even a few quad 'mechs just for the hell of it.

And while I'm dreaming, can we get some melee combat up inis? Because nothing would say good times for me like watching a Berzerker beat some poor Clanner's face in with his Briefcase Of Perdition.

Timber Wolf (yes I like the Clan name WAY better than the Inner Sphere one and generally refuse to call it a Mad Cat ) in time, once the Clans arrive and all.

Thunderbolt and Battlemaster for Inner Sphere 'mechs available in the given time frame (3049) always enjoyed both of them, their looks and their loadouts.

Honestly my opinions are soured,. I want clan mechs, so unless a clan expansion comes out many of these mechs will be disallowed. here is hoping.
