Being a big fan of the computer games, I'm not sure what would be valid expectations of the timeline - but hey:

Light: Puma
Medium: Uziel
Heavy/Assault: Awesome, Mauler, Sunder and Black Knight (but this one was a later 'Mech right?)

Sure it's mainly Clan 'Mechs, but at some point we'll get the opportunity I'm sure.

Bushwacker. 55 Tons of Angry. 1 ER large laser centerline with machine guns mounted left and right of it. Left arm's an LRM 5. Right arm's an AC/10 and a LRM 5 over the left shoulder. Classic from the Clan invasion and a personal favorite of mine.

I'd want a mech with a tonnage of between 50-75 tons mounting 2 PPC's, 6 medium lasers, ECM gear , about 12-15 tons of Ferro-Fibrous armor , enough double heat sinks to keep 75% of the weapons roaring at short range and a top speed near 90 km/h .

I would love to see a Banshee. I dunno why everyone loves the Atlas. I always felt its firepower was a bit weak for a 100 ton assault. The old school Banshee 3S had 2PPC, an AC 10, 4 Medium lasers, 2 small lasers, and an SRM 6 launcher. Now THAT is an assault mech....

The newer Banshee 5S has 2 ERPPC, a gauss rifle, 4 medium lasers, 2 small lasers, and an SRM6.

Both of those are pure beasts!

Any of the classic 3025 era Forbidden lance take the field, they could just straight away shoot me in the face as I would just be standing there admiring them with mechanical mouth hanging open & all. Love to see a lance w Rifleman, BattleMaster, Marauder, Wolverine, Thunderbolt etc..etc..the old school chaps.

its been awhile since ive revisited the mech universe due to the many years since one was released...will have to dust off the old books to refamiliarise with the inner sphere models lol...

are clan mechs making it into the game?

God, the list may be endless. I think anything I'd want has already been posted.

Mostly the Marauder and Archer. Marauder was always my main mech. Battlemaster for my first miniature.

Can even begin to fathom any classic ones pre-clan. Outside Unseen and post-Clan, I never really looked at the old ones outside the iconics like Atlas.

Sad days for me, since more of my general IS favorites are post clan. Avatar, Bushwacker, Raven. And the Fafnir. Oh, I think the sole reason I even got MW4 Mercs was to pilot a Fafnir. That thing just looked dangerous. Not even the Dire Wolf could compare to seeing those two giant cannons looking in your general direction.
I won't care about not having the Unseen if I could just have a Fafnir early.

Gotta have a Catapult in there, at least if the Archer doesn't make it.

It's gonna be hard making a general weight list I'd want in this era.
