I made a change to my drop deck in the faction screen, saved and went into a planetary defence. The changes hadn't stuck, so I changed again, saved and dropped into a match. I still got my original drop deck, no changes.

This happen to anyone else?

How has the idea of these drop-decks and the extended fighting in CW changed your builds? Are you guys considering energy-heavy weaponry more now? I keep expecting to see more Swaybacks, Wubmasters, and 8 med-laser Firestarters on the field.

Hasn't changed my builds yet, but the 240 tonnage limit is definitely making it tricky for me to decide on what mechs to take. I was originally going to take my first mech I mastered from each weight class, however with those being a AS7-D-DC, CPT-C1(F), TBT-7m and Raven 3L, I was 10 tons overweight. SO now I gotta decide which assault 80-90 tons I would take instead. I get that Victors are Tier 1, but that does not actually mean it would be my own personal best choice best on skill with it.

Only real issue I have having is there is no way to review loadouts or swap modules in the drop deck screen. I mean since modules are so damn expensive, if I want to change up my drop deck for a specific drop, I may need to swap modules between a few mechs, quickly, without jumping back to the mechlab (and losing my spot for a specific world) Also I might need to review builds quickly before making a final decision.

laser stalkers, thunderbolts, CN9-AL, HBK-4P et al all seem popular. Stalkers in particular are a steal at 85t
