i always breaked at 10 minutes.
and new search.
the CW gamemode is very much fun. but i think you Need a 12 man for faster finding.
i did solo

Teamdeathmatch with 30 minutes time Limit and with no 3/3/3/3 rules. better this max 240 tonns + mech select on any map would be nice!!
lower search times for all

It's funny, but solid wins as the attacker seem to be giving me the least points due to zerging. I hate to say it but doing the PUG shuffle at the gates might be the better tactic for the tournament.

I fight for The Suns as well so if you need a team member just send me a message and/or add me as a friend so you can see when I am on. At work right now and won't be on until after midnight my time and I am central time zone.

Jumped on regular play last night due to wait times being long.

Enjoying CW and the Challange a lot so far! Great new game mode, sure there are some bugs, as it is a first. But the first impression is very nice! Also with the ongoing challenge a nice way to earn some c-bills.

To all those lamenting guys better check what you are doing:
Do not attack on some far off the action planet where it will take forever to fill a team!

Hardest part of this challenge = finding matches. The interface needs to be retooled to show playerbase per planet so we know where to go instead of sitting around for 20 - 30 minutes a round....

They wouldn't be stupid enough to have one match per planet at a time. The longer matches mean that the players are in game for longer periods of time.

I agree it would be nice to know the mechanics of the calculations so we could problem solve the issues for them since again they have failed with their planning or coding phase of the project. Its hard to make suggestions without knowing the particulars but I would suggest just choosing worlds currently with action and being placed in which ever game is next on that planet. This way you can just pick a world with action and get into a larger queue with more ppl that just want action now!

We are picking the worlds off the bottom of the display screen which states- attack or defence now click to join. But nothing happens. I know im on about 245 ping maybe the people without the problem are simply getting into the games and filling them up before I even see the request at the bottom.

Worse than the wait, is the wait followed by finding yourself in 12 pug IS teams 'counter-attacking' against 12 man premade clan teams. Tough weekend to keep positive.

Bitter sweet with what CW could become.

Rewards are given out at the end of the challenge as usual.

IF YOU WANT QUICK MATCHES FOUND, check your Factions forum page for their TS.
I found dropping with 12 man groups, As Russ stated CW is made around, You insta find matches.

Get on TS and make some friends.

This would be all well and good if you were able to make 12 mans with other players from your faction, but at the moment the only way to form a group is with people who are in the same unit.

Sync dropping. (Kinda)

You find out what planet others are attacking/defending and you attack/defend there

Much easier to do when all of you are on TS.

Some of them even have the attackers using the same TS channels to set it up - so that they will know there will be defenders.

Agreed... with several hours spent waiting, at least 2 games that aren't registering on the tournament roster (qualifying or otherwise, and they were damn good games too), and 2 more that are a wash due to swarm-rush clanners, it seems like first rank reward for "you showed up and played through this" would be in order.

Edit: and the Jags attacking Turtle Bay are showing that, true to canon, they're awful excuses for warriors that are just drooling to say that they've won.

Observation: Wait times are silly long. Not even close to playable.

Suggestion: Remove the hard rule of 4 mechs. Make it 240 tons; however many mechs you want to bring.

Enjoy the frequent drops... solo, grouped as 2 or 4, whatever.

I was about ready to give up on the horrendous wait times, but it's nice to see the community stepping up with ways to help find matches that make both the beta release of CW, and this weekend's challenge fun. Great example of how the community can take a beta release and find ways to enhance the gaming experience for all
