The matches are mostly fun, except when there's no opponent but turrets, light rushed, stormcrow rushed, or otherwise cheated of the chance to actually play.
It's also way more fun to play IS vs IS.

Problem is, when I get defense the Clan team just rushes and ends the battle before anyone can score 80 points. Then when I get offense, the team gets butchered by the Clan team and nobody on the offensive team makes 80 points.
EDIT:
...and I give up. I'm just endlessly waiting in queues, and whenever I finally do get a battle, I don't get 80 points.
CW is just so horribly broken; this even should not have been held yet.

I went in solo most of time.
The MWO Challenges are usually pretty long, but there are different levels to complete, so people can get something out of it. And they wouldn't be challenges without some "challenge" to it. If it was easy to get all the way to the end, it'd be boring.
It was a bit of a mixed bag as far as the people in the game. Some nubes, some experts, some all PUGs, some 12 man premades. And having a 12 man didn't mean they were good. Was on a PUG group that wasted a 12 man...more than once. Okay..it was twice. But still....

Edit: I also got rolled more than once too. The teams of IS lights were the best for rushing the generators and winning fast. But we got creamed by mixed bag IS mechs too. It usually comes down to some luck and a lot of good coordination and understanding of what needs to be done.

But it's CW. And a big part of that is attacking planets. Unfortunately that is rarely a mech kill event, but mostly just a run to the objective.

Im begining to think the sulferous rift map is worse than mining collective for being a nightmare to use effectively.
Oh and only won 3/9 matches needed to qualify. Yeah working as intended.

this evening I spent 4h to get 5 Matches and of those 5 Matches I had 3 whitout opponents.
I completed all Challanges successfully so far and there where a few tuff ones (at least if you run a RL beside Gaming or have to be in a 4 man or something like that).
And it would be no problem for me if I wouldn't complet this Challange because of to less score during the matches I played.
If I suck, I don't deserv the goodies. I totally understand that
But the fact: that I don't even have a chance to get enough matches together because of hanging in some queues for hours and then ending up in half of the matches without an Opponent really pisses me off.
At least so much, that I join in here and troll a forumpost.

NOW.. If you can play a CW match.. Be happy ! (a = one!..) It is not broken.. just inefficient.. very-very inefficient..
And, MM.. Ye.. looks like nobody said PGI before, that not just 12-Man Teams want to play CW.. Because.. it looks like, here are not many players, who can speak the canadian language.. BUT, they know it now.. they will sure make it playable for Solos too.. The question is, just... When..?
During the Waiting Times.. you have far enough time, to think about that WHEN.. Right?

It never injected, ghost or otherwise, my account is sitting at the same number of cbills and my gxp has not increased more than a few points from playing.

AFAIK it seems to be auto-redeemed/injected once you reach that point, and the game does't do the "redeem" message when it occurs.
My only gripe with the challenge is that the 20 pt reward is not the sum of the Tier 1 + Tier 2 rewards. At least, the 20 pt reward should be double the Tier 2 reward.

That's ok, you win, and thats the point. But for example in this tournament, where the score to get is 80. I did not score a point, even though destroyed like 90% of the gun by my self, with an end score of 65. All other members of my team got scores over 100, just because while I was shooting the gun they hold back the enemy mechs.
Am I just a noob who doesn't know that you have to farm them clanners before actually trying to win?
Other matches where we are stomped by clanners I still get matchscores over 100 quite easily.. And by decimating them clanners you also get loyalty points(?),
.. but yeah, this isn't about no frikkin' matchscore anyways, and the tournaments end, so yeah, ..
