That needs to be a pic of a burning turret, considering those compromise the majority of Davion CW kills.

Yesterday whene our planet was under attack many Liao pilotes fight with clans. For what? The resultat; Today we have lost next planet. All Liao units need to fight for Liao home. Whene we will return our planets - lets go fight vs clans.

I propose today all forces move to attack Davion. Not for fighting vs clans. Need to defend our territory!

For the Liao!

Queue for the defense of Maladar now. We need to beat back the attacker wins before prime-time.

Last night I tried to find a group but all the Liao on my friends list were on clan queues! Why?! Why do that?!

Does the Maskirovka hand out copy and paste tools for this 'excuse', on Monday afternoon (UTC) I participated in a hodgepodge defence of 12 solo Davions against a full Company drop of TCAF. Guess what? They lost, not a white wash but still a loss.

If House Liao can't mount an effective defence, especially when the majority of Davion units elect NOT to drop on uncontested planets (honestly, who wants to sit for 25 minutes just to play on an empty map? ) you're going to have come up with a better excuse than "the ghost wins are the reason we lost our interstellar empire".

*chortle* oh tis such a witty retort, thanks for that :D

If the Highlanders were still in Liao's employment, I would consider taking a contract with them to help you out. Being Scottish, I'm used to being the underdog and enjoy a good scrap. However since old Max couldn't hold onto his most elite Merc unit, as well as a good portion of his empire, I'll just have to settle for reuniting the rest of the Highlanders with their kin by helping conquer the rest of Liao territory.

*shrugs* There's a numerically large enough advantage at this point that in Davionville, invading a defended planet -still- means at least as many blank-slate fights as it does ones against active defenders.

There ain't enough green to go 'round. Same as it was back in the 1990's, actually. Davion gets near-zero Clan pressure and because there isn't an actual Federated Commonwealth AND Kurita does get multiple Clan hits (and more), you get a situation that's actually worse than the 4th Succession War.

Consider that in the original MW online, Davion had a roughly 3:1 advantage against Liao, Kurita, and Marik -combined- (never mind Steiner players) and beat Liao without visible effort during each conquest cycle- and ate a hole in Kurita but just couldn't chew fast enough to digest both completely. I wouldn't be surprised if that trend has continued, and is actually worse due to Clan pressure against a large portion of the Kuritan border.

We rolled Davion once the entire time back in the 1990's, and that took yours truly pulling a dirty, dirty trick to effectively quintuple-sextuple our rate of shifting planetary control, calling the Kuritan leadership on a phone line to share it, and combo-zerging the entire Davion territory back to the untakable capital planets. And then showing the devs how we did it so they'd fix the hole.

Anything happening now is simple, inescapable math.

so ridiculous. ;) lost 1 out of 7 games - and watch the counter go up for the attackers. 60+ attackers. (prolly bout a hundred) - 38 defenders. yeah sounds fun.

TCAF are terribad, unfortunately. But it's not like the average skill level of Davionist units is off the charts either. We all have our ponderous chain to bear, but that doesnt change the fact that good units can and are rolling off streaks of victories, only to see the counter keep ticking in the enemy's favor. When it's 60+ vs. ~35, the numbers speak for themselves.

Remember chaps: We choose Liao because we want a challenge and have e-honor. If we wanted to play MWO: Easy Beginners Edition we would have chosen Wolf or Davion.

Effective response? Really? You're dropping 40 vs. 19 in some cases, really most, And we're making excuses while you ghost drop. Really. I think we need to go over what "full of excuses" means, FedRat. Go kill some more turrets, honorless wretch.
