There are several Questionable accounts on that video in defense that have been identified as intentionally tanking matches all day.

Dropping together often in defense of only Liao attacks, have accounts made in within 3 weeks of each other back in 2012, never having made a forum post, always running trial mechs......... Thanks for more video evidence.

Let's not turn this into a chest-thumping competition. We have concerns regarding the fact that the fact that these "bads" all showed up at the same time as a whisper attack on our TS, and they've only been seen dropping on the Liao border.

The devs have been alerted. If it's legit, fine. We'll help them to not be bads anymore.

If it's not, then the devs will sort it out.

That's all that needs to be said.

your playerbase is to small... all your hope are mercs to get you out of trouble and you need to recruit them and this is not the way you do it...

Intra-faction: We have two planets to choose from.

Inter-faction: We already have a peace treaty with the only other faction that can attack us.

It's cool that a lot of new merc units came to Liao for the c-bills but if you guys came here looking to get your unit names on planets or see Liao's territory grow... you came to the wrong faction.

I think it's best to not get upset about this sort of thing, Tunes. I've already seen factions burn bridges with large and effective merc units because of a few hotheads that look at CW as just the Invasion game mode, and not as a larger game.

Don't want to see it happen again.

Give Liao some time to get organized, then deal with them diplomatically and let the words of forum randoms roll off your back.

Sorry if the snark pissed you off dude, but it's the cold hard truth. No one's gonna join Liao because we asked them to. They're going to join for the payout, or they're gonna stay out because they'd rather get their names on some planets. Right now those are the only two goals in CW.

Okay, let me explain. We (Phoenix Legion Mercs, that is) snatched a planet from the Ghostbears, beating them back for the first time. How did we do that? I mean, there is only one planet on the GB front to attack and one to defend, easy right?

We had to learn the hard way, that in the current CW system, you truly have to coordinate times and units to finish an attack. You have to find out 1) who your EU allies are and 2) who your NA allies are. Then organize an attack where these allies mount substantial Mechs over a longer period of time, not relying on PUGs to do anything but skirmishes to help. Keep a close eye on which unit can supply what and when will who take over and continue the fight. Also don't forget intelligence measures...

THAT is coordination. And for that you need to know who fights with you, for how long, where their TS is, whom to contact, whom to rely on and who fights how good.

Double, triple and quadrouple the effort if you need distraction attacks or additional defensive forces. It really is a lot of work, especially when you are a small faction (less so when you are on the "doesn't matter we have the numbers advantage"-side) but doable.

I agree we need more people. I'm a little apprehensive about a big recruiting drive based on higher pay rate, because that can change, and we don't control it. People who follow the money in the door are likely to follow it out when we start taking planets back (or if Russ feels like changing it). Our propaganda wing has begun to flap though, and that might get us some hang-arounds.

I'd like to start a "train the solo droppers" thing, but right now I'm not sure there are enough to fill teams out anyway.

Until such time as we have more than two planets to interact with at a time, there is little need for an overall structure. When it comes up, I'll be the first(ish) to help organize a council. Probably with impressive-sounding titles and awesome hats.

If we had a way to pick what planet we attack, that would change things considerably.

Here's how the Davions work: They don't attack our planet all day. Why give us something to do on two fronts? They half-heartedly(edited for filters) defend their world all day. EST primetime comes around. They can drop (our total units committed)+2(ish) on both planets simultaneously. No matter what happens in the fights (we could in theory win 100% of them), they are ghost dropping in the background. They are happy to tell us that no matter what, they have bogged our units down. During this four hour period, they steadily gain ownership on both worlds via turrets (and some wins, I'll be honest), then right after the CF, they can all go to bed victorious.

Some/many of them might not even know this is what's happening. That's kinda the worst part. Any given player might only experience an occasional ghost drop during primetime, and think the effect is being exaggerated on the forums.

If we all shift to one planet, they can do the same, AND still have a team of ghost droppers on the other one. If we split, so can they.

Given that they have a truce with Steiner, they only need to be able to muster and correctly apply six premades (one for each planet) more than what the three smallest IS factions can bring to lock every planet every day. Less if they actually win most of their fights. More if they're all HHoD. (that's where the 2ish comes in to play) Meanwhile, Marik has to split their forces fighting Steiner, Kurita the clans. And we are pretty much 3-4 decent sized units and whatever pugs feel like playing that night.

The answer is that we need more people. But not JUST us. We need Marik and Kurita to have more people too.

I really do appreciate your joining up. I appreciate what you are trying to do here. Until we get more, it's a grim outlook.

The solution is that we figure out a way to get more people to join up and stay. We'll have to figure that out.

Another possibility would be the FWL and the DC to pull everything off their other fronts and we all press Davion simultaneously. That would help US out, but the others would still lose planets on their other fronts. Especially Kurita. They might actually have it worse than us.
