I don't agree. I like arty the way it is. I think the game mechanic is fun. Adds variety.

For CW, maybe they should be changed to a Company Commander asset, like how Red Orchestra 2 handles arty.

I don't mind a ton of arty. arty forces movement, discourages turtles, and them hundred ton whales hate them. a nice counter to the mega damage king crabs and dire wolves

I've seen like 2 king crabs on the IS side, and only like 3-4 direwolves on the Clan side. It really only benefits the Defenders since they aren't being forced through a choke point.

i have had no issues what so ever with arty/air .... and lol factor high for a guy/team that gets hit with 4 arty in one spot

As much as I'm kind of on the fence about Arty/Air strikes... this is pretty much my feels. I know it's not always an option to move out and all that. I think there should only be so many allowed per the entire duration of the CW match. Same with UAVs. Therefore, it would make groups have to choose who uses it and when. Maybe 1 Arty/Air per lance, per "round" (basically everyone gets 4 rounds. Keep track of rounds by how many mechs the enemy has lost. After every 12 mechs/1round then you can use your new consumables.)

Maybe be a bit complicated... BUT it would cut down on the amount of chain Artys and they would be more tactical and it would give units the ability to give their players roles and responsibilities. Or it could be a terrible idea and I look like an idiot. The latter is close to the most true.

Hang On : (I need to do some math here)

I have 4 mechs which each could use up one Artillery, boy this could get expensive. OK so 4 x 24 for my team and the other team. That makes (pulls up calculator) 96! No way, hang on. . . 4 x 24 = 96 WTF!?

I still think arty and Airstrikes should be limited to just the Company and Lance Commanders....You can bring it, but if you arent Lance or Company commander, you cant shoot it. Give and take lol. Plus, thats only like 3 arty per game, not 12....or in the case of CW, 96...lol.

I sort of agree, maybe a cap of 1 per player per match. That would probably be easier to implement, than only commanders.

They are fine... I have been killed by them ONE time since they have come out... If you watch for them you CAN actually get out of range most of the time... However, people don't want to do that now do they... Put your big girl panties on and watch for them... Remember there are no more in this than a normal match... Your team should have them too, just sayin...

Oh, it takes four strikes to kill/cripple a light or medium? I wish I was playing whatever game you're playing.

i think we should just ban all MEchs from carrying weapons and bump each arty module allowance to 3.

I haven't actually been able to get into a CW match but as an attacker is it possible to arty/strike the objectives and cause good damage?
