Everyone benefits if you surrender.
You get some pretty sweet guns.
Those terrible governments get fixed up or disbanded.
Better mechs for everyone.
Come oon, gotta admit those clan lasers are pretty sweet. Why rip them of and try to make a franken mech with that tech, when you could understand how that laser works, and figure out how to make it even better!
You know you want some of this sweet sweet mech right here
got three wore then out, its like owning a second hand VW beatle with a flash paint job

Anyway. The King Crab can kinda do Direwolf builds... start to think off it a lot of IS mechs can mimic clan mechs. The only problem is there is nothing that can do 13 energy hardpoints. or 12 (or less) E hardpoints with 4 ballistics.Etc...
I really wish the king crab can be used in CW by clans... THe clans got more functional king crabs then the Inner sphere atm in 3050 =C
I bought 2 more crabs
and now I have crabs
I can be a jerk
nerf clans n such n whatnot

Well in that case I would gladly give as much crap as you want. Hell I'll give it to you now, without being your bondsmen. In fact I just shipped you my first load of crap for you, should arrive in a day or two. I even threw in some urine because I'm a values added kind of crap provider.

Stackpole had nothing to do with adding the Clans. In fact, he was writing under very rigid conditions and even commented on that at a DragonCon many years back. Lucas actually gave him more free reign than FASA did.
Jordan Weisman and Ross Babcock are to blame for the Clans.

There was talk of a BT reboot not too long ago. I wish they had done that rather than just trudge onwards. Would have liked to see what they could have done.

Given how reboots go now days, it'd be nothing more than combining Voltron with Battletech. No thanks.

I didn't say Michael Bay was doing the reboot!
But the problem with old games like this is all the grognards who don't like change. StarFleet Battles has the same problem- Players hate new races and stuff being added so they are reduced to just adding more freighter variants for the same races...
