so... every one was saying laser vomit would be the key for the gargoyle but I am not seeing many builds that vomit. I have tried several different builds of that style and just gave up. What do you guys think of this build, because I did much better just on the first match with this build.

well, honestly...not hugely different from my Prime
GAR-D
which oddly performs better than expected.

My D is like so
GAR-D
and definitely my meaner of the Gargoyles.

Not a fan of Pew or WubVomit. Too boring.

Russ, is that you?

(For reference, Russ actually mentioned that build on Twitter.)

I accidentally got 8 kills on a Gargoyle-D... 4 CERMEDS+1 CGauss.

That's the only "solid" build I could come up with that works out better than the rest...

I feel like Gargoyles need some pretty heavy hitting energy weapons like Large Pulse or PPC or all those hard locked engine heat sinks become dead weight.

I've gotten the best results in my Gar A with 2 ER PPCs and 4 small lasers. The D has more hard points, but if you put too many high heat weapons you doin't have the weight for the extra heat sinks you need. I tend to run a couple Large lasers of some variety and small pulse lasers for added fire power close in, with range modules. That or 6 medium pulse with extra 8 extra heatsinks, with range modules.

Overall if you try pretty hard you can still end up with sub par results because the Gargoyle is gimped.
