[Bishop Steiner]

Loving the new PPC quirks on my VND-1R. (the same PPC buff is on the 1AA, but honestly, I prefer LRMs on it, so I only PPC in my 1R)

Is it hot? Not as much as it seems. Because I pretty much never combine the lasers and PPCs....unless it's a shot of opportunity. But if I use my mobility and stay at range? I can fire my PPCs nonstop 16 times before overheating. That's some pretty good PPC spam.

with the new projectile speed boost, the PPC is cooking along at 1330 m/s. Much more useful at range again. Combine that with the jump capability and agility of the chassis, and it also can poptart pretty well in a pinch, while repositioning (or trying to minimize exposure).

Of course, I know, thanks to our forum experts, that the chassis is DoA. But for those who don't care, don't mind being sniggered at and willing to have some fun, give it a whirl. The little Badger of Tikonov might just surprise you.

I'm so glad a thread about this was made, i've been working my vindi's over (and been laughed at by my merc team mates) but there are time when the little chassis that could really shines. The -1X medium laser quirks makes it a pretty sweet laser boat with SRM/LRMs. And the PPC buffs....JOY!
Now if i could only hit things with then - damn hit reg...

1AA is my fave of them, but for the way I play it, I find I do better with an aLRM15, and 4 Mediums. But that speed and agility and JJs could make for a real good jump sniper, for sure.

Well now that the clans are here we can put our differences aside and skip to the battle of luthien..

Had a game last night where almost every house was representing while defending Vault (also known as winning) against a pure CJF team. Smashing clams as a united sphere is fun fun fun

I had one vindi when it came out and sold it to open the mechbay, might try them out again when my premium time runs out... by buying the mastery pack.

Not a fan of PPCs myself, never really got along with em, but I've had a blast in my 1X

LBX10, 2MGs, 2MPL, pretty effective.

Need to get a third one to finish eliting them, and trying to decide if I want the remaining normal, or a SIB?

And yeah, Bishop doesn't look right anymore.

This is a travesty. Bishop Steiner's Steinering is like a pillar of the MWO experience. Without it, there's just something..missing.
