...enjoying it. I still have the box around here somehwere but downloaded yesterday via MTX.

Surprised by two things :-

How rubbish I was at it to begin with (I used to be great at it) and how rubbish the graphics are. I know it's years old - but in my memories it was so much better looking!

Now then one thing I do remember about it very well, and enjoyed immensely once again was the arena! Using the terrain and various weights to become Grand Champion was great fun.

Got me to wondering if they will do something similar in MWO, some sort of event where you can enter for X amount of C Bills with your mech and try and take down the big bucks and prizes, travel to a planet to take part against others and compete to be named champion?

Personally, I thought MW3 looked a hell of a lot nicer, even though it was lower res or whatever.

MW3 had the best 1st person view.

I concur, I think WM3 was a superior "build" even if the environments were not quite as "fleshed-out" and detailed as in WM4. (at least thats how I recall them, lost my copy of WM3 years ago )

I thought MW4 didnt look a whole look better then 3 thats for sure imo, but i loved the story in M4* mercs.

And I also would love to see some kind of arena that we could play deatmatches in and maybe have a prize pool to the winner of cbill entry fees
