Anyone living around Washington DC looking for some TT based mech destruction. I have a bunch of mechs, and some friends I play with but senarios are way more fun with more people.

I'm from Centreville, VA there is a Game Parolor off RT.28 and 50 that I used to play at. I'd be down to play some again though if ya'll are trying to start something up ;)

You go to the Game Parlor?!? I love that place, you know they still sell BT minis and aerotech minis? I go in every once in a while to raid their stash.

Yeah we should definitly organize something. What do you guys normally play?

I would be interested in participating if at all possible. Just need to know what dates/times? :)

EDIT: Also where the games/events will be at exactly as well.

Fire you live in West Virginia, I was thinking of getting regular play going you would have to drive quite a ways to get here

Alright for those who are nearby I was thinking the Game Parlor off of 50.

Well it may be a long drive but Chuck Norris willing I may be able to get there if RT 50 in Centerville, VA is where its at? Near Dulles Airport my dad tells me? (Not entirely sure just wondering). Just need to know date/time and I can decide about whether I will make it or not based on that. Long distance travel may not be my thing but we DID meet in D.C that one time remember? Too bad it was rainy that day. =/

Heh ah Game Parlor used to play there weekly with my miniatures gaming group on Thursday nights. I was also thinking of Huzzah hobbies over in Ashburn they just moved to a larger store more table space. As for Battle tech I love 3025-3050 time line. Not a big fan of the clans or that abortion of Jihad. I'm free most nights after six p.m.

Yeah the Jihad is beyond my reckoning but I do love the clans. I have a couple IS mechs but not enough to have any serious strategy and choice, what I do have is a cluster of Clan Smoke Jaguar mechs :D

Would you guys like to start with some simple tonnage bases death matches or would you like to role a senario?

As for the location I have never heard of Huzzah I will have to check it out.

Huzzah hobbies is off of rt7 west of the rt28/rt7 interchange. Look them up on F-book, Chris is the owner. Good store clean with just enough tables.

I did look them up, looks like a nice place but I take it they do not sell any battletech stuff there do they? Another reason I like Game Parlor is because they have kept Battletech in stock since the early 90's

lol that's just residual stock that they have had since the 90's. Rob is a big one for not discounting anything in his store hence if you look in the back he still has a bunch of magic cards from the early 90's and some CCGs that never went anywhere.

Let's make a date to meetup at Game Parlor in Chantilly since they have tables and they sell the miniatures? Weekends work for me, just pick a date and time and we can do it!

Did we want to shoot for Saturday or Sunday? I can stop by there this week and check the times the tables should be free then sign us up for one? I'd prefer afternoon on either day. I'll let you know what the times they have are in the next day or so.

The West Fairfax route gets you the closest to Game Parlor. Though you would have to play frogger getting across route 50. You would need to get off on Sullyfield Cir.
