oke serious, all Laser ports on the right side of this mech????.

i wanna make a laser boat, if all my lasers is in one basket is bad gameplay.
this need adjustment ASAP, and put those lasers in the arms, put the Balistic on top of the mech.
and remove those Missle ports nobody used them.

Strange because I got 4 kills 6 assists and 682 damage in my last match using 2 LL, 2 ML and 4 ASRM6.....

Ignoring the whole "wrongness" of the thread anyway...

Having all your energy on one side is ideal. It allows you to use the rest of your mech as a shield to protect the side with all the energy. Also, I like it all grouped in one location (like the torso) for convergence reasons.

You get to shield your sides with the gigantor arms that have more armor than certain heavy mech CTs.

aye makes a fine king crab layout.

and no it's not optimal to have all Energy weapons on one side.
first it only give you one angle of fire cover second if people notice your build they will use this weakness against you.

I suggest you consider the AWS-8Q if you want an energy assault.

Next time you look to buy a mech, consult www.sarna.net to see what it has. No King Crab, in lore, is an energy boat. I'm sorry you bought the wrong thing.
