Unfortunately there are no announcement systems for in game. But yes you can tell by clicking on a planet info it shows the higher amounts.

You should do a planet owned Rewardsystem - if you controll more, you get payed less. Steiner or Davion for example controll by now more planet systems - liao less. So to speak: Use the Number of all available Systems and use this to formula an equation for LP Gain.

for example:
LP Bonus=Standard Bonus+if controlled planet systems/all planetsystems<0.5, then Standardbonus*(1-faction controlled planet systems/all planet systems); else (no Bonus).

Glad they are boosting Clan Smoke Jaguar, but Jade Falcon really didn't need it according to what I'm seeing on the map of the Inner Sphere... player numbers are not the only factor. You have to take into account how frequently they show up to fight.

monetary reward, will not help. To call veterans. Need a stronger motivation. (eg rare mech).

And your motivation, will call only noobs

They are to give people a reason to play for those factions. Better rewards to draw more people into the trap.

the question is will this only affect the planets belonging to those factions, like: defending Liao, and attack liao taregts, or do you have to be pledged? otherwise this helps not really that much because people probably are bound to houses by contract not even able to switch to the buffed factions.

I still vote for a dynamic system:

planetary reward is 500c-bills x amount fo planets a faction owns.
loyalitypoints is 5 for every 50 planets they own.

This will dynamically change things and create more balance on the map soon.

further more balance dropships by allowing every faction wiht less than 5 planets to have + 10t while every other faction should have 240t -5tons per 50 planets.

what will this change? the bigger a faction gets, the more are their planets worth to be attacked, and so people will morelikely go and attack a stronger factions planets. I really doubt that we will people switching factions all the tiem to the one having the bigger rewards. But if you give ALL factions a motivation to fight a specific faction or to avoid a low rewarding faction, then this will create more balance.

still a few people willing to change factions may now go to the liaous, because they border steiner and Davion, which means the bounty Liao gets on these planets will be big.

This is a great start but I don't think this will quite enough to make up for massive number discrepancies. It's worth trying for sure but I think it'll take more than this to resolve the ghost drop issues.

I just realized CW is not tied to stats at all. Which is strange because "archived " dates back to closed. Sad to see 7 kills with an HBR didn't count. :(

The incentives will work for some, but probably not all that many.

Frankly, though, I will never work for Liao or the clans (I am a traditional BT player and have a very strong dislike for some of the traditional houses and the clans). And if my unit takes Liao contracts I will just not fight for that week. I already won't take solo drops against clans cause I have not been in a successful attack/counter-attack against them and I never seem to get actual defend missions.

And every game I've played against Jade Falcons it's been all Lords all the time and frankly their behavior is deplorable. They are no better than SA goons with the attitude and all chat comments they bring. That's probably why their faction is getting the boost, cause no one else wants to fight with people being jerks all the time despite their winning.

I can see why this is being done for Smoke Jaguar and Liao as those 2 factions are really struggling, but Jade Falcon has been pretty successful. Even though their reward increase was much smaller, I'm not sure it's justified.

Well, we know what 3 factions are doing the worst lol. More incentive to play for them so they don't lose more ground lol

It's a population issue, not a how well they're doing issue. If how well they're doing was an issue, Steiner would have gotten a boost. Then again, Steiner is fighting a 6 front war.

Comstar is playing a dangerous game with this one. You are interfering in the spoils of war. Terra might not find as many willing defenders if the clans decide to push that way....

Yeah but you got a win a match to get it ;)

First!
But... I don't get it.
What exactly are those adjustments for?

They would appear to have the least amount of forces/population for CW so they are increasing rewards to attract more mercenaries to contract with those factions. Which is odd for the green pigeons because they appear to be doing fine.

Population is important but

Number of fronts is a factor too.. and needs to be taken into account of for any future fixes to ghost drops.

would be good if the number of planets depended on how many of a specific faction were on.

More Jade Falcon pilots might not be a bad thing. It will mean more Pugs in the attack queue and fewer LORDs in every other drop on the CJF front.

Yeah, Steiner lost more territory than any other Faction. But we also have the largest territory to defend. We need a larger player base, but we also need some less skilled opponents on the CJF front. Hopefully this will help us out some.

But Lords are green chickens that already means they're overpowered because they never loose haha they get extra money for being allstars team too, fair enough, thats a good reason to join that Clan =p

I have to wonder, how many hangers on that will encourage to adopt JF colours? To profit from their success?

ComStar News Bureau
Bulletin #00-01-A

ComStar News Bureau Agents are confirming reports that House Liao, Clan Smoke Jaguar, and Clan Jade Falcon have just undertaken incentive adjustments for all Loyalists and contracted Mercs.

Adjusted reward amounts are reported to be as follows:

House Liao
100,000 C-bills (100% increase to C-bills)
100 Loyalty Points (100% increase to Loyalty Points)

Clan Smoke Jaguar
100,000 C-bills (100% increase to C-bills)
100 Loyalty Points (100% increase to Loyalty Points)

Clan Jade Falcon
62,500 C-bills (25% increase to C-bills)
65 Loyalty Points (30% increase to Loyalty Points)

Will changes like this be dynamic and go towards having a CW economy, where any faction would pay extra for hotly contested planets/regions?

Maybe they dont like the wait time in queue? hell it taked forever in solo queue even on advertised planets

Same here. I spent over an hour in queues last night, and never did get a drop, even with advertised planets. Very frustrating for solo and small group Smoke Jaguars.
