then how are you fighting us ? were only attacking wolf for an undetermined amount of time, were not defending IS

I can't speak for all units but most don't waste time with CW this soon after the reset. Nothing will really matter until about 4 hours before tomorrow's.

Take it easy their ace. We didn't have people attacking or defending until 2 hours before ceasefire.

Its the holiday and for some reason its the only time you guys can launch your super awesome sneak attacks.

We'll get back to beating your butt while gobbling up planets tomorrow.

how is it a sneak attack? 2 hours before we attacked it was posted we were attacking
and on the same note MercStar only has 2 12 mans fighting you not our 6 that we normally have

Again, holiday. If you're going to actually attack us keep it up rather than announcing this stupid stuff on the forum where no one is likely to read it. You like to do your super cool pushes when people are likely to be away from their computers. Meaning our numbers are more than a bit depleted but yet for some reason we still manage to kick you around the map every time you try this.

My unit is well over 120 members strong, delta is in the hundreds, and CI is obviously gigantic since it includes 3 combined units. I'm not even certain some of our best units like the Golden Keshiks were on.

We can field a lot more than a 6 12 mans. Don't worry, we'll get back to taking planets while reaming you soon enough.

You can keyboard warrior all you want, you will have zero lasting impact on the CW map. We'll be sure to bump this thread weekly and let the map do the talking instead of coming on here to talk **** like a 12 year old that just found the internet.

Don't worry, we'll be gobbling up your planets soon enough.

I am amused though that you are willing to lose over and over again every single day in a futile attempt to stop us.

Your unit must have no lives at all outside of this game since 6 units will still not be large enough to tie us down. No other ghost bear units are breaking the treaty, so to have any chance at all you will have to do this everyday consistently for the next two months. Actually, scratch that, you have no chance since we outnumber your 20 to 1. xD

Numbers are apparently not your strong suit.

there were some individual members present in the early drops. None so far since the ceasefire re-opened though so that's a good sign I guess

Some people need to stop with all the high blood pressure and enjoy the game. Try to remember to have fun! This is a game after all. Thanks again to the Wolf units who fought last night on Gustrell. Some of the best battles in CW in some time.

Ax, I respect that philosophy. They were fun games. But of course strategically this is all a distraction, and it's pretty out of character/lore for units to switch to the Clans just to start trouble with no repercussions. It's kinda lame in that respect, and that sours these otherwise good matches. If you can respect that, we'd be happy to have matches with you in a more controlled environment.

I'm not going to lie, they were hard games. We did the best we could, and while my individual 12-man won most of our matches, we did still lose to the full 12-man MS unit and one other time. And no, it certainly wasn't just MS taking part in this. Lots of merc units all had the exact same idea at the exact same time. I'd have got some videos and screenshots, but Shadow Play was acting up.


I dunno about people waiting 30 minutes for matches. If you have a complete 12-man, that should be the absolute max, where normally you'd wait 5-15 minutes. If you were on the IS side, you should have found matches very quickly. If you were on the Clan side, well... you should have found matches as quickly as we did.

So the Wolf race to terra or any planetary aquisition has been stalled due to the more interesting and fun battles now occuring on the CGB border. Various people seem happy about this including Clan Wolf who seem to be equally enjoying the events, but maybe only expressing it in some form of some Tea baging rhetoric. Cute, rather crude and childish for my tastes but the idea of tea being in there somewhere might suggest the possibility for refinement. Merc units being more professional and gentlemanly about it all.

Though of course Clan Wolf are only capable of doing these things as they don't have to worry about any Steiner aggression. And of course it generally being easier to defend planets.

Meanwhile other Clans continue their race to Terra despite not forming pacts with the IS.

Seems to be very interesting morning headlines.

I might offer further insight and analysis after I have had some glorious tea and toast.

TLDR

We tried surprising CW to grab a planet from them, lost to pugs and small man groups with only a handful of 12 mans with a lot of the main wolf units still away on holiday and then recanted that it was just for "fun" dark born just like going out of their way to embarrass themselves.

I leave for a week and miss all the fun.

It will be interesting to see how this all pans out once everyone is back to full strength once the Holidays are over. Jan 2nd may be miserable for some factions.
