They look slightly more organized than PuGs

Hopefully we'll get a screenshot. I just checked and none of our units are attacking CGB. Gave the Oathmaster a heads up anyway to ensure it stays that way.

Do you know what unit they are in?

Look at his signature block, that's Antares Scorpions. His post is sending you a message. Oh no, it's a former IS merc corp with Wolf tags! And their attacking Ghost Bear space! Where's all the sanctimonious raging now? Hypocrites. . .

It will be denounced just as heavily once it becomes known.

So the lame attempts to troll us from within and break our alliance will continue it seems. It also appears like the various merc units are coordinating an effort to "destabilize" their employers rather than actually work for them.

I wonder if this is just their way of lashing out at PGI for not putting mercs into the game the way they wanted. Are there ANY merc units out there legitimately fighting FOR their faction?

You just don't get it do you. The Dark Born are neutral opportunists of neutral affiliation. Who we are employed with or have associations with many different groups and these things are not completley determined by where we choose to fight, this may directly or indirectly linked with aims and objectives more far reaching than just looking at a limited number of battle lines. As such the factional allegiances and sticking flags in planets we leave to the politicians, it is a limitation of loyalist units.

The freedom and flexibility of leading a life style not really concerned with geography or political ideals as how the factions look at it does not tie the Dark Born down and the assocations we make either short term, long or standing are all associated with Business and making contacts. Most MERC units have this more mercantile attitude of looking at things like a business and again are not burdened with the ideals of noble political sentiment. This allows freedom to choose these alliances as we wish and to some extent try to co-ordinate efforts with others for mutual gains. As such we may have disimilar badges to various organisations but may be working for their interests, some very much under the table and not so apparent even.

When you begin to understand that the "Badge" only means something to loyalist members of factions you might begin to grasp how the Dark Born and perhaps how Merc units and other bandit/pirate groups are capable of operating.

So all those paragraphs just to say "I will ride their collective sacks until the end".

Noesis doesn't seem to have much to say, despite taking an awfully long time to say it. But he does have some good pics. ;)

No we offer services of mutual benefit to other Mercs, Factional houses, Clans, Pirates.

I will leave it to the factional leaders as to who and what units they wish to do business with and the value they see in those units and how those efforts can be beneficial to them.

The Dark Born has ongoing projects with various units and aligned connections that may not be reflected in the factional badges we wear.

If you don't want to develop these relationships with Merc units and ridicule them instead then that is your choice. Might not be good business but still your choice.

Well he was fishing, so I gave him a runaround with the Dark Born sales pitch to make it worth the time. ;)
