i do drive mechs:

Though I consider myself an average veteran player.

I also drop command, lead a unit, empower and motivate others, do fun social events, diplomacy, strategy and analysis, discuss policy, develop technical tools, offer various services in terms as mentioned with the Dark Born services brochure and many other things besides.

As such I dont have time to play at James Bond and prefer the more Candid approach. Some things are left hidden to help with business but there is no insurgance or "spying" being perfomed by me personally.

Here we go, intelligence grammar corrections inbound for the self proclaimed "genius".

You just don't get it, do you? The Dark Born are neutral opportunists, of neutral affiliation. Who we are employed with, or have associations with, are many different groups. and These things are not completley completely determined by where we choose to fight. This may be directly, or indirectly, linked with aims and objectives more far reaching reaching farther than just looking at a limited number of battle lines. As such, the factional allegiances, and sticking flags in planets, we leave to the politicians. It is a limitation of loyalist units.

The freedom, and flexibility, of leading a life style not really concerned with geography, or political ideals, as how in the same manner that factions look at it does not tie the Dark Born down. and The associations we make, either short term, long term, or standing, are all associated with business, and making contacts. Most MERC units have this more mercantile attitude of looking at things like a business, and, again are not burdened with the ideals of noble political sentiment. This allows freedom to choose these alliances as we wish, and, to some extent, try to co-ordinate efforts with others for mutual gains. As such, we may have unsimilar badges to various organisations; but, may be working for their interests. Some of these are very much under the table, and not so apparent even.

When you begin to understand that the "Badge" only means something to loyalist members of factions, you might begin to grasp how the Dark Born and, perhaps, how Merc units, and other bandit/pirate groups are capable of operating.

For someone trying to sound intelligent, you have the worst written communication skills. For someone trying to sound educated, you could do far better.

This coming from an engineer that got a B and a C in my college writing classes. That should really be saying something...the extent of what I write is usually confined to technical documents, code, or "how-to" documents, and I can see how poorly written it is.

Perhaps, you, and the Dark Born, will stay out of places where you are clearly exposed for what you are...leaving you free to troll those who are more naive as to your actual purpose, and/or personality.

ggclose education.

Can you make a post without multiple run-on sentences, no use of proper punctuation, improperly capitalized words, misspellings, and omitting proper pronouns?

Almost, you lack a subject, and a verb. Good effort though.

*Head -> Wall*

Such an uninteresting conversation. Made me feel younger however for a brief moment. Need to find some like minded people however to talk to, so I hope you don't mind if I elect to do something I consider more constructive.

There is no test, Dark Born are Clan Dark Caste. I genuinely don't mind if you attack CGB space, we have no specific loyalties to the Clan Council and are in fact a collection of the more nefarious criminal underworld of the Clan soceity.

As such I really don't care if you do, at the end of the day the conflict will provide opportunities for opportunists like ourselves and other Mercs. It will likely add to the pile of existing funsics in Clan space which is a win/win situation for many. ;)

Am i reading this thread right, that Noesis is saying that he wants Clan Doggie to break the cease fire and attack Clan Snowflake because it's in his best interests?

Just remember Snowflake, profit only comes from winning...

I'm not playing the being responsible game or not for conflicts. It's your choice whether you feel you can handle the decision of taking on CGB as a part of your connected interests whilst in Clan Wolf and whether you want to do that. I will make my choices as I see fit for the best interests of the Dark Born.

The decision is yours to make not mine. Question is can you handle such an important decision and be responsible for it perhaps?

As a Merc unit we're in the habit of starting wars on the sly only to get paid top C-Bill to come in and finish it.
The real question, Merc unit to Merc unit is:
"Are your employers paying you enough to afford the fuel bill for a round trip for your dropship to come and collect your bust mechs?"
