Unable to join the unit. Your current contract's duration is longer than the unit's contract.

What should I do? I don't wanna lose tons of c-bills or have to wait 2 days or whatever just to join a unit.

You need to break contract and wait 2 days. Then join unit (do not re select faction)

I heard in one of these threads that this very problem is being evaluated for the Friday patch. Might want to hold on a few days.
