No one is losing on Chateu, literally. When you get your 7 victories + that is great and all but then if you and your unit start queueing, then cancelling out, then queueing again you are giving an enemy team a chance here and there of dropping into a map with no YOU in it... essentially a sure win/counter attack. especially if you assumed as a group that your work was done and switched to another planet to attack, enemy IS groups who responded and were in queue when you got you win #7 may then have gotten multiple drops against no one, easy wins to reduce that win count.

So you came, saw, conquered, then did not hold.

No defense is a far more likely and rapid reason to lose a planet than units or pugs losing a fight.

agreed it's certainly frustrating that all that work seems to get so easily nullified

Issue is, we were winning the counter attacks and holding the planet and watching the count go down.

you would have to keep watching it 30 minutes after the invasion window closes, as there can be around 30 fights going for the same planet at a given time.

when the second cutoff hit and we were trying to Hold skallevoll, we had 9 wins when i came out of match and saw the invasion window close, I though "phew! 9 hours of nonstop defending, good thing it paid off" and went to bed, lo and behold next morning t was under CGB control.

Also the wins you pull off in EU prime time means nothing, whoever swings the favour is the ones working the last 3 hours, which is [Horribly early in the morning] GMT time, which again means that the EU players efforts means nothing if the NAs are active in their respective prime time.
CW is won by numbers and west-coast residents.
Skill, strategy and hard work means nothing outside of the last few match hours. unless you count C-bills as something <_<

I just had an idea. If we get back to the idea of time windows and prime times, that does not sound anymore such a bad idea.. Think about this: each planet could have be divided into "bigger areas" ("continents" perhaps), 3 containing 3 zones each and 1 containing 2 zones, and each of these big areas could be attacked only during a time window (EU prime time, NA primetime, Asia-Oceanic prime time..). In this way, the EU units could fight on like 3 zones only and see their fights give results when their windown gets closed, losing or taking one of the big areas on the planet. Then NA windown could kick off and the NA players can fight over the other big area and its 3 zones etc.

If the only victories that matters are those in the last 3 hours, making all the others pretty much useless, then i think this solution could help. I am going to make a thread to gather feedback (and maybe post another suggestion too, thinking about a new game mode too).

That's a good idea, although I'd perhaps shy away from calling them EU, NA and AP windows. Subdividing the current engagement periods DOES seem like a good plan though, if the intent is to allow units a sense of accomplishment beyond "we won 8 matches".

The time window thing probably needs to happen... no point playing Stamina Warrior Online, or "I don't have a job because I am a teenager/hobo"-Warrior Online... No offense to the hobos of course >.>

Its happening Clan wide. Its not just Clan Wolf. Clans just dont have the numbers. But by all hell keep fighting. Once we finally get united numbers wont matter.

That or some IS regulars, hardened from dedicated IS vs IS battles and honing tactics against and with some of the best units of the game, showed up and put Clan Wolf in its place in addition to teaching Clanbuster tactics to the pugs in the area.

You're welcome :)
