Not yet, that would be dependent on the information that is going to be available from the API. The next things I will be adding are Unit displays and Timeline functionality.

Interesting for sure. More so after logistics are in and Merc Corps have a vested interest in which planets are under threat etc.

Players are complaining about the cost of modules now. If the design is right they will add items like dropships or jumpships to the game that will cost obscene amounts of creds and the income from captured planets will decide the half stranded corps and freelancer players to the galaxy spanning corps. (freelancer player here just let freelancers have independant options if such things are ever added even if more expensive per jump say.)

Very Cool. Could you make a web version of this?

Someone else seems to be working on a web version here: http://cwmap.x-shells.org/

There is also someone working on an Enjin plugin here: http://thesilentseventh.enjin.com/cw

I may start putting together an Android version though once I get enough basic features working on the desktop version.

If there's no web alternative available by that time I'll see about making one myself.

Great job!!! Too bad PGI isn't paying you to do something they should have done from the start.

PGI made the API for this to be possible. What I have so far isn't too much work.

Nice.

I wonder if something like Interstellar War Update could work?

I've found that there was a ComStar News Bureau active during this time period, dunno if that would fit with tracking planet ownership or not for Clans (kinda leaning no though).

And that got me curious, anyone know if the Clans have a unified broadcasting and/or news service? or at least any named broadcasting / news services available in Clan Space?

I've found a few examples for a couple of the Houses so far and the ComStar one, but nothing for the Clans yet.

Great job man. But the Falcon scientists are going to be punished, you should have been born to the engineer caste :P

In regard to naming if you want it to be lore friendly you might like Comstar Report

That is cool I was being a little facetious about PGI paying you. Because this is something they should have thought of during the planning stages of CW. Long before the first lines of code were written. But again good job I am impressed.

During closed and open beta the patcher had daily dated news reports. It was cool because they would add bit of lore and made the game a touch more realistic. Hell I remember a couple of news reports of the HPG stations in the periphery going dark. Right about the time the Clans, according to lore, began their attack on the inner sphere. Then PGI ran into troubles getting the clan mechs out in time so they stopped the reports. The original plan was to have clans and CW live within a year of the game going live. It took them 2 years longer than were hoping for.

Yeah I remember those!

I was around to read them until they stopped. I wonder if any of those are still around, I gotta remember to search around if they are.

It would be awesome if those could get started back up, and the idea of a name change for this monitor is what got me curious about the in-universe names for any broadcasting / news agencies active during this time.

I will sanctify you if you could build a client telling us the queue in every planet.

Not yet possible with the current API. It will jump to the top of my priority features when it does become possible.
